I highly encourage you and your family to visit 5 county stadium. It is a great destination for a group like church, business or scouts. Suites are available and very nice for things like client meetings. The atmosphere is fun and casual. I love the fact that you can get local foods like a NC-style BBQ sandwich. The stadium does... My family enjoys going to the games here. It is always clean and very friendly. They have dollar dog nights and thirsty Thursdays. So they offer deals to help out with food costs. It is out in the middle of nowhere. But I like it that way, less traffic.

The stadium itself is average. We took a few boys there for my son's 9th birthday. There were a few staff members that were very rude and the announcer messed up on announcing my son's birthday....did not even attempt to pronounce my daughter's name(really not that hard). Will not be going back to that stadium.

Beautiful stadium, great view from anywhere, good food at reasonable prices. Fun activities between innings.

Take the kids often. Always have a good time. Nice double A ball park. Entertainment for the children and pretty good caliber of baseball too.

off NC 264, a water-tower beckons, the only structure in sight except for Five County Stadium, home of the now-Class A Carolina Mudcats. A lovely, lovely stadium with terrific concessions (hot dogs, $3, even when they're not on special), a nice assortment of beers and a concoction consisting of barbecue, beans and coleslaw all in one bucket. Doctor's permission required... More

Best place to go with a family for outdoor entertainment in the area. Better than Durham but the team may not be as good at Five Couty. Great prices.

Cruised out to the ballpark Sunday to see the Mudcats play. Nice, really nice. We sat in the afternoon sun and watched the boys play a little baseball. Oh the beautiful life! On cooler days, you should sit in the upper deck. It is warmer. Hot days, spend the extra buck and sit field level. The stadium is in the... More

Down home fun and entertainments. Prices stay low and the atmosphere relaxed. Plenty of parking and folks willing to help if you need some information.....
