This was our second year at Wrightsville Beach Surf Camp and it is quickly becoming our favorite camp every year! My 2 girls look forward to the activities, the fun counselors, learning about the environment, and of course their time surfing and boogie boarding! I highly recommend this camp if your kids love the beach!

I attended the teen overnight camp, and had the most amazing week. I can't wait to return next summer. Two counselors stood out to me; Bradley and Morgan. Both helped me improve my surfing skills considerably and they were both super funny and easygoing, but also passionate about the kids and surfing. Zoe G. I found this camp on the... More

My son attended the week long surf camp and had a wonderful time. He was riding waves on the first day and wants to continue surfing. The staff was excellent with the campers and always greeted everyone with a smile. Great camp.

My two children and nephew took private surf lessons from Josh. Having Josh come to where we were staying was a total bonus. Josh was patient and took his time with each child. He was attuned to each child's capabilities. My children have asked for Surf Camp next year. Thanks Josh!

My daughter and I took a surfing lesson with Taylor from WB Surf Camp at the beginning of our family vacation in Topsail Island, NC. He was knowledgeable, patient, articulate and passionate about surfing. He also cared about making sure we were having a good experience, which we both did. We rented surfboards for the rest of the week so... More

My New Years resolution was to learn to surf and I was really happy with my introductory lesson with Emmett! In just 2 hours, I was up and riding waves and felt confident and safe on the water. The waves were not perfect but all 3 people in my class were able to catch at least a few. Emmett did... More

I've done WB Surf camp for three years now. I improve my surfing skills every year! It's great to get advice from different instructors every time. You can take or leave their surfing strategies and apply them to your own experience. All the instructors that I have come across have an amazing attitude, and are just as excited as you... More

Our daughter had a blast at surf camp. She loved every aspect from the surfing to the Counselors to the outings and especially the new friends. She already counted it up, and she can attend five more summers until she ages out and said she doesn't want to miss a single one!

Both of my kids attended Wrightsville Beach Surf Camp and it was definitely worth it. The ratio of instructors is small - some days my son was one-on-one with an instructor. It is not that much money for a day camp until you realize that it is only a couple hours each day. However, by the end of the week,... More

Great time spent paddle boarding in the harbor. Our instructor, Steven, was fun, personable, and had unlimited knowledge of water sports and the Wrightsville area. We had a ton of fun with him on the water and he even recommended a great place to eat after (Bluewater -- which did NOT disappoint). It was beautiful and serene and fun and... More
