Our group's tour with Nikki was one of the highlights of our weekend. As a personal chef and food blogger, Nikki is a wealth of knowledge about Winston-Salem history and food culture. She introduced us to great new restaurants. The food was delicious, portions were very generous, and I loved that we got to meet the chef/owners at several of... More

Adrian did a great job keeping the tour relaxed but also on time. Each restaurant showed great hospitality in addition to great food and beverages. I had a friend visiting and it was a perfect way to show her Winston-Salem. I would definitely recommend it and would do it again!

I went on this tour today while visiting a friend who lives in town. Adrienne was an entertaining, knowledgeable guide who kept the tour running very smoothly. We visited three restaurants for entree tastings, one for beer, one for chocolates, and one for dessert. All of the places had great food/drinks to offer, and were very hospitable. I would definitely... More

Had a wonderful time on the 2:15 Saturday tour. The food we tried was great! Even though we had a small group and it was rainy the tour guide Nikki made it a fun adventure. Loved that we got to go and try samplings at well known locations in Winston Salem and we also got some history in the mix.... More

My husband and I went on the Taste Carolina Gourmet Food walking tour in the West-End District of Winston-Salem. The tour guide, Adrienne, was very cordial, welcoming and knowledgeable of the history of the area. We visited four restaurants in the evening for Valentines Day (which was a surprise for my husband). It does involve a bit of walking (not... More

Excellent time was had by all. My wife and I met her sister and her husband. Highlight of the weekend was the taste of carolina tour. Plenty of food- we were all struggling to finish dessert at the last stop. We did the west end tour with Leslie, who also happens to be the owner. She drove over from Durham,... More

While visiting from Nashville, TN, my 2 adult sons and I came to NC to visit my daughter and son in law who recently moved to Winston and we spent our Saturday afternoon taking the walking food tour. What a great way to discover restaurants, eat amazing food and learn more about the history of the area. Our guide was... More

Two days ago, my wife and I went on a gourmet walking tour of Winston-Salem, NC with Taste of Carolina. It was all walking so come prepared with walking shoes. A person with average fitness should be able to do it with no problem especially with the frequent stops. Nikki, who lead the tour, was a personal chef and knew... More

There are supposedly two tours in Winston-Salem, one of the Arts District and one of the West End. We wanted to do the former, but I think we ended up doing the latter because there weren't enough people for two tours. Check this out in advance if it matters to you which tour you do. Our guide apparently was used... More

My husband and I went on the Taste Carolina Gourmet Food walking tour in the West-End District of Winston-Salem. The tour guide, Nikki, was very knowledgeable about city. We stopped at 7 local restaurants, one that wasn't even opened to the public yet, Spring House. The food at each place was fabulous!!! My husband and I had such a wonderful... More
