Neat place with lots of interactive and hands on displays for children. There are even a few that they are able to climb up into and onto very easily. The most fascinating display is a large, multicolored, hand-tied rope exhibit that is suspended outside. There are tunnels woven into it that the kids can explore and there are pendulums that... I recently visited the museum with my nephews 2 & 7and my niece 6. It is a small museum, designed well. It had activities for all ages and the kids had a great time. We spent approx. 3 hours there which was the perfect amount of time to see everything. They particularly enjoyed the "cocoon" hand crochet art installation, the... More

This is a great place. Everything is child-orientated and my kids always have a great time! Only complaint would be that I wish it was bigger, and that's more of a selfish wish because the kids would have more space to have fun!

Best of its type I have ever seen. Very interactive and creative. Not given to foolishness. Obvious the facility was built with forethought.

Didn't even know there WAS a Children's Museum in Winston-Salem until my wife bought a Groupon for admission. We took our 3 1/2 year old grandson, along with his parents. The little guy had a blast! There are numerous hands-on things for kids to play with. Perhaps the coolest was a network of tubes with a very strong air current... More

As a grandparent and uncle of two 4 year olds, I have found the Children's Museum a fun and interesting way to interact with them. There are many neat aspects to this kid-friendly museum, almost all of them hands on in some way. There is a really cool "Jack's Beanstalk" sculpture that is over two stories tall in the center... We came here for their annual Halloween activity, Truck or Treat. About 25 trucks were parked all around the museum for trick or treating. This was really fun and worth the time. Afterwards we enjoyed the museum for a couple of hours. It's on two floors and has some interesting and unique exhibits. No food service is available however. It's... More

My child and I have been to many museums. Though this one is a bit smaller, they've packed a lot of fun things into their space! Worth a visit.

Each Year our Child goes with the School and each year my wife and I make sure that we go no matter what it takes. It is so much fun to watch our child learn and have fun. We enjoy being there for him and enjoying the bonding experience. Please take your children and experience how great it truly is.
