My kids were 5 and 7 at the time of our visit. The admission price is a little high (adults are charged along with the kids), but I think it is well worth it. My kids played for three hours and could have stayed longer had we not had plans later that day. The "exhibits" are really play areas that... More

The attractions were really good, including a playground the children can climb on outside, but to get in its about $6 a person.

Went with our son and his family and loved it!! Our grandson loves this museum and they take him often. Especially fun is the Krispee Kreme donut area where all the kids have a blast. This hands on concept for kids and grandparents now is such a great interactive way to have fun with them. There is so much to... More

We have a 19 month old and we have been to the museum about 4 times in the last few months. We went ahead and purchased the membership because it saves money if you go a few times. Our daughter loves it all. We took the stroller the first time, but the parking is really close and free so now... More

We have taken my nephew to the museum a couple of times and he loves it! If you are a state employee, you can get free admission.

We took our 6 year old and 2 year old grandchildren to the Children's Museum and they had a ball. There are a lot of interactive exhibits. When you enter, children are able to climb a "beanstalk" from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor. The steps follow along beside the beanstalk so you are able to monitor your child... More

As a stay at home dad, I'm constantly looking for productive and worthwhile entertainment for my two kids. Having recently moved from Minnesota to Winston-Salem, I began exploring some fun places to venture with the kids. A first stop for us in a new city is to check out the Children's Museum! Upon entering the Children's museum, I was very... More

Lots of fun for young children. Not for tweens or older. Doesn't take long to play and tour the museum. Other things to do nearby.

Great fun! Plenty of interactive attractions. Playing the paracutes on a pulley, pretend veterinarian and air tubes spewing scarves were our top three favorites!
