Excellent place for 10 years and below

Excellent place to take children 10 years and below. I think older kids would be bored. A must see in Winston-Salem.

The museum is really nice for the smaller kids and even the bigger ones admit it's kinda fun ;) there is ample parking just a few minutes walk away as the lots do fill up pretty fast. Several floors to keep everyone exploring and finding things to do and make and touch and operate. The elevator works well and the... More

Found it to be interesting with a variety of activities for the young. I would compare it to the Kohl Children’s Museum in Glenview Il.

This is the smallest children's museum I've ever visited, but we enjoyed it. DD enjoyed the climbing feature at the center of the facility, as well as the interactive exhibits on the top floor. I would have like to have seen more opportunities for organized activity in addition to the freedom to explore. Kept the kid busy for about an... More

When we first moved to North Carolina my daughter had just turned 3 yrs old. We did not know much of what to do around town and this place came highly recommended. Our first trip there was as a family and we loved it so much, that we became members that day. The place is magnificent and such a feast... More

Wow, what an awesome place. It has dozens of interactive exhibits and games for kids of all ages to play and have fun with. Many of them are real works of art, but are still there for child to play with. I'm never sure about that membership requirements but my grandkids are members and come here quite often.

Here with 4 year old twin boys, a 2 year old and two 7 month old babies. Everybody had a great time. If I went again, I would probably bring a picnic lunch.

We had a mixed experience. The grounds were clean, the staff friendly, and greatly everything you'd expect of a children's museum. I think my kids are just outgrowing them though. They were easily the oldest kids there. My 8yr old found a couple of things that he enjoyed while my 10 lyr old was totally bored. I'm afraid we've become... More

Great downtown place for kids to play and while away hours. Recreate experience of grocery store shopping or making local Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Nice place to take kids on rainy days.
