My niece was in town from Seattle with her 4 year old daughter. Dreary winter day, and I wondered what we could do to occupy and entertain a young child. I thought of the Children's Museum, which I had never been to, but had read good things about. Well it was better than we could have imagined! The only children... More

All 3 of my children have loved the Winston Salem Children's Museum. It's a wonderful place to spend a morning or afternoon with kids 6 and under. The museum is divided into differently themed "exhibits" that allow kids to get hands-on and play. Two of the exhibits are sponsored by Krispy Kreme and Food Lion. In the Food Lion exhibit,... More

I visited the museum with my special needs class (grades K-3). The exhibits really appealed to my students and kept them actively engaged during our 2 hour visit!

We popped in to check out the children's museum on a whim with our twelve year old. We are originally from Indianapolis, the city with the largest children's museum in the world and we wanted to see how it compared. Much to our surprise although the size of the museum did not compare, we were overwhelmed with the kindness and... More

Had an awesome time! Very great place for kids to go around and do hands on activities! Only thing was paying $21 for 3 people and one was a 16 month old in a stroller that didn't do anything. The price was a ok, but I saw no reason in paying for a child that age that was not participating.

My kids are nearly aging out of this but still have fun here. We usually take a friend or two and they spend most of the time outside in the net swing or upstairs in the houses/puppet area. They really can spend 2 hours easily here so make sure you check the closing time when you go since they close... More

I took my granddaughter. We had a blast. She was 5, turned six in Dec. There are things to do for kids of all ages. I highly recommend a visit!

I brought my young daughter here, she really enjoyed playing in the Vet Clinic, the Krispy Kreme doughnut factory, and the Food Lion. Even though it was fairly busy (Saturday), she still got to participate in all the activity rooms. The price is decent, we spent about half a day there and that was plenty. They had a special brain... More

My 5 year old daughter loves going here. She asks to go here all the time. It is probably a 4 hour trip to do everything and enjoy it. You as the parent will get bored way before the kids do. My daughters favorite is the climbing apparatus as soon as you walk in and the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. She... More

I must say I was very pleased with the museum. I hosted my daughters 4th birthday party and I honestly could not have chosen a better place. They took care of the invitations, party favors, the craft... I mean, it was nice to have someone to somewhat handle the party details. I gave them the theme and the executed them... More
