I have been here several times with my grandchildren. The last time I accompanied my grandson's preschool class. It was very organized so we were able to spend time in each section. The kids especially like the outdoor area. There are only vending machines so if you plan on staying for more than several hours you may want to pack a... More

I went there with my Grandchildren and they loved it, there is so much to see and enjoy it keeps them busy and they learn from this experience. I would recommend taking them for an enjoyable day for both you and the children, BG

We took our children there this summer and the children were very bored. Not much in the line activities for the younger children around ages six to twelve.

Kids love this place but places like SCI Works etc offer much more and is also cheaper. The place kind of gets boring for kids as well without any new activities. the activities are all the same. I took annual membership

The Children's Museum has lots of things to physically and mentally challenge young children. The exhibits are ar designed by highly creative. Indy and they instantly engage and enthrall most kids. You'd be wise to avoid going on school holidays and other obviously crowded times.

We visited on a day when a large school group was there but it didn't seem crowded. The kids loved every display and it was all interactive. They even got a chance to make art. Plan to stay about 2 hours or so. Clean overall and well staffed.

I take my two grandsons, 2 and 4 there a lot. It has a lot of fun things for kids to interact and play on. They have a section like a grocery store and one setup to make fake Krispy Kreme doughnuts and deliver them in the truck. My two grandsons never get tired of going there.

Not a bad spot - but staff was rude when we went. Admission is also high compared to places like SciWorks, Greensboro science center etc. May go back again but won't be going very often.
