If you like to garden, come. Is it this arboretum. It seems more like a botanical garden that has a wealth of trees. The Japanese garden was gorgeous. The arboretum is free, with limited hours. It was open to visits on the weekend but no staff were on duty. We did find a bathroom, hint: look by the greenhouses.

This FREE arboretum is one of our favorite places to visit. It features native plants, an outstanding rose garden that smells wonderful when in bloom, a large koi pond where you can feed the fish, a few smaller structures where children can play, large grassy space, a children's playhouse and garden, a sand and rock serenity garden, a restored Japanese... Our ratings will reflect on not being a plant person if you may. This was a typical nice little stroll through some cool scenery. If you suffer from any allergy please please please do not go. There were a lot of little frogs along the bath, a few sweet areas to take memorable pics with your love ones. This would... More

My boyfriend and I visited here last year just to walk around and see all of the beautiful flowers. The Azaleas were in bloom and looked amazing. Roses everywhere as well. There was a large grassy area where a family was having a picnic, which was a great idea. The Arboretum is not very big but it's worth checking out.... More

Arboretum is such a fantastic place to go an unwind. I could sit by the giant koi pond for hours! Don't miss the art shows and master gardner's plant sale. We look forward to those every year.

Small, quaint gardens with nice variety. Arboretum is not that large but in my opinion has a better variety of flowers and plants than Airlie Gardens does. I did not have to pay, which was a nice bonus. When my wife and I would get bored we would stop by for awhile to enjoy the flowers.

Much like Airlie Gardens but on a smaller, more intimate scale. Beautiful flora in a relaxed environment.

This is a wonderful free arboretum. You can stroll through the various areas and even bring a picnic lunch. Area for the kids too.
