Plants are labeled along the numerous paths and they are all in great shape- an army of volunteers sees to this. Of particular interest are the pond with large fish you can feed (25 cents/handful). Kids love this! Kids also love the charming play house and attached, fenced in children's garden. Check out the Oriental garden towards the back, the... More

We were here in the winter so there was nothing blooming but it was still a very peaceful, beautiful stroll. We stopped several places just to soak in the quiet. We hope to go back in April and hopefully some of the plants will be blooming.

We went a bit out of season, so there were not many things in bloom, but my wife and I still enjoyed the walk around. There were many species to look at and we got a few ideas for our own backyard. A nice place to spend an hour or so.

This is an amazing Garden - make a point to check out their Ability Garden. This is a Popular Spot for Photos. Be sure to pop by and take a walk.

The kids love feeding the enormous coi fish. My grandma loves to walk through the rise garden. I love the scenery and picnicking on the lawn. Something for everyone!

This place is pretty unbelievable when you think about the fact that it's run by many volunteers and it's free to the public year round. For that, it's very very well maintained. They have a great koi pond in the middle where you can buy little fish pellets to feed the fish and (occasionally) turtles. As a challenge, try to... More

Really loved this arboretum. Beautifully done, especially the Japanese garden. The children's garden was really lovely and engaged our toddler for quite a while, as did the butterfly garden. Would definitely go back. Lots of nice photo ops here!

I can't believe we haven't gone there sooner. This place is beautiful and free, it doesn't get much better than that.
