Enjoyed being able to walk around and let the kids explore for a bit. Even in winter there were many things to see and paths to wander. Not somewhere you could spend hours, but definitely an hour.

My niece suggestions we visit the arboretum during our recent stay. Despite it being a cold winter's day, we thoroughly enjoyed our walk through it. The veggie garden, Japanese garden, and the children's area were highlights. Will come back to visit it now every time we come to Wilmington.

The gardens are beautiful, there is a gift shop and a Plant Clinic where Master Gardeners will help you with any gardening problems that you may be experiencing. Well worth a visit. The kids will love it too.

The NHC Arboretum is a hidden treasure that is free to the public to explore. It has a wide variety of "garden rooms" that are wonderfully displayed. It showcases many plant and garden senerios that are well worth the trip!

This small park is packed with beautiful flowers, water features, roses, and tea houses. This is one of our new favorite place to visit when in Wilmington. The park had wonderful walking paths and trail through very tranquil settings. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic place. Beautiful Japanese Gardens, as well as Roses and other flowers that flow around the green and pond full of friendly Koi fish. Adorable Once Upon A Time inspired area for children. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would definitely come again. Well worth it.

In all our travels through Wilmington, this was our first stop at the Arboretum. What a beautiful spot. Lovely gardens to wander through. A delightful oasis.
