In all our travels through Wilmington, this was our first stop at the Arboretum. What a beautiful spot. Lovely gardens to wander through. A delightful oasis.

Well, there is a precious little playhouse in the front for kids, with all the plants around it. I thought that would be the big hit. They also have a tube drum that kids play with spatulas near the picnic tables. None of those things garnered a second request to see. The Japanese garden and the tea house were far... More

It was so cool the fish would even let you touch them! T was beautiful and had a lot if flowers, and it doesn't take much time to go through so you can do other things and it's free! The only thing I didn't like was that the gift shop is closed on saturdays

We have made a couple trips to this location since we found it several months ago. This area has beautiful plants and is a great place to take photos! My daughter loves feeding the fish in the pond and visiting the cute little kids playhouse. Be sure to walk the entire area--it is a short walk but worth it to... More

It was a lot smaller than I expected it to be, but it was beautiful. I decided to stop by on my last night in Wilmington and look around for a bit. The flowers were in full bloom, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The small Japanese tea house was great and the feeding the koi fish was wonderful, I got... More

It was beautiful! The garden were very pretty, the staff was so kind and friendly, and it was FREE! We had a great time looking at the flowers, walking through the tea house, playing in the kids garden and feeding the koi fish.

I visited the Arboretum once as a child, and for years it fueled magical dreams about enchanted lands and mythical creatures. I know that sounds exaggerated, but you would have to experience this place as a child. Everything is to scale for a child, and although it seems small now as an adult, it was it's own universe as a... More

Our two families totaling 4 adults and 8 kids ranging in age from 5 to 15 decided to stop at the Arboretum on June 16th on our way into Wilmington. Despite the collective groans from the kids about the prospect of walking around looking at flowers and trees, we stopped to take a look around and we are so glad... More

The property is well cared for and the flowers are beautiful. It only takes a short time to visit but well worth the stop.
