We went to Airlie Gardens on 5 Dec 2014 for the Enchanted Airlie Christmas lights. They do a wonderful job with this display each year. My beloved wife and I have been for this each year for the past several years and it absolutely delightful. It is obvious that a great amount of effort goes into setting up the lights... More

Airlie Gardens is a fantastic Christmas experience. The displays are amazing and the Santa Claus is very patient, warm and friendly. Well worth the per carload charge.

The Enchanted tour at Airlie Gardens is magical! The light displays, Christmas decorations all create such a wonderful holiday spirit. There are so many areas to pause and view. Great photo opportunities. It's so lovely to know that you are so close to the water....the area at the pier is beautiful. Love the bottle house! Children will love it. Adults... More

A wonderful getaway near the intracoastal and beautiful setting nestled off quaint Airlie Road. We are season members and enjoy it year round and always enjoy a peaceful stroll on these meticulously kept grounds. Enchanted Airlie Christmas display is one of our favorite times to visit and take our family with the carload pass! Must see if you are visiting... More

Have visited these gardens three times. They are beautiful, a meditative experience and great picture taking. Local to both wilmington and wrightsville beach. The walk is a history lesson. Don't miss the 400 year old huge tree. Nice gift shop and friendly staff.

My son and his girl were visiting in August and wanted to go to Arlie Gardens. Lovely walk and interesting areas to explore, the Bottle House, Meditation Garden, Butterfly House twists and turns into lovely garden areas. One caveat, if you are looking for flowers, go in the spring or early summer. Late summer is mostly green with s few... More

If you love ancient moss covered oaks along the sound this is a must visit. Thousands of azaleas and camillias bloom at different times and the art and sculpture gardens continue to improve. Take a short or long walk and enjoy an hour or an afternoon. Sure to please.

We always visit during the holidays. The Santa is fantastic and a very sweet personality and looks great. And the lights were beautiful. The kids really enjoyed it.

My family and I visited airlie garden over the summer and it was absolutely gorgeous. We took tons of pictures through out the grounds. If you enjoy taking pictures you will not be disappointed with all the different scenery. My family loved reading about the history through out the gardens. My boys (ages 1 & 9) thought the butterfly garden... More
