Very pleasing place to walk, talk and exercise oneself in mind and body. Some very attractive lovingly prepared sections of nature. Feel that they do charge too much and so sadly we will not go back again as it may seem redundant. We have similar places in Boston and they do not charge or are voluntary..not to be cheap but there... More

What was once the summer playground of one of the well established and prosperous families in this area is now open to the public for all to enjoy the ancient oak trees to the mature plantings and spectacular views as you stroll the paths or picnic on the shaded vast lawns.

This is a very beautiful place. We leisurely walked all the additional paths, and it took about two hours. The giant oak, the butterfly house and the bottle sculpture were definitely the highlights. I would like to come back in the Spring when more of the flowers are in bloom, but the area is very nicely maintained, and worth a... More

Visited "Enchanted Airlie" over the holidays with some friends. While it was pretty to see all the lights, I don't feel it's worth the price. We had free tickets and weren't absolutely wowed, so I can't imagine the disappointment had we actually paid for tickets.

This is one of the most beautiful places in Wilmington. Spring is spectacular ! The heart of the gardens is a live oak that is over 300 years old. Must see !!

My favorite place is the bottle sculpture and the butterfly house. By the pier, if you look up, you'll see an osprey nest in the dead tree. They come back every year! I also love Airlie Oak, the 400yo live oak.

Nice little garden adventure 0.9 walk. There are some wild life that I personally, crane, foxes and varies birds. There is this butterfly section that is pretty cool. If its 100 degrees like it was today being plenty of water and towel. Perfect for kids because they have sculptures around the garden for the kids to find.

This was a refreshing getaway from the tourist hot spots. You can walk at your own pace. We went when it was really hot. Carry some water and utilize the tram if needed. We went during the week so we were able to have quiet time at several of the attractions.

This garden had a few nice places. I was not overly impressed. It is self guided. It takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs to see it all.

Arrive early in the summer months. Some of the best flowering gardens flower in late March / early April. We visited in early June and there were very little in terms of flowers.
