Such a beautiful place to walk around and explore on your own or with a friend or significant other. There is a lot of history to the gardens and the church that is there. I recommend exploring the old cemetery by the church. Also, definitely check out the best garden: the Pergola Garden. It has a very picturesque setting with... More

In all of the years we've been sightseeing in Wilmington, we'd never visited Airlie. I was really impressed with the layout and the beauty. I have to give a special shout-out to the glass house and to the metal bug sculptures! They have a lot of weddings here and I can see why!

Very pretty if you like to walk around there are a variety of flowers to look at but not much else to see.

I have lived in Wilmington my whole life so this review is mainly for tourists. Airlie Gardens is beautiful hands down. I have only been a few times, but the Christmas lights show last year was unforgettable. You pay by the car load or per person if there is only one or two people. It wasn't extremely cold in December... More

We came here at the end of August, and while the preserve has some great features, most everything was dead. I would recommend visiting the gardens in the spring when the flowers bloom.

What a relaxing place to visit. The water attracted lots of ducks and swans. The gardens were lush with blooming plants and foliage, almost jungle-like. Don't miss the bottle house! Great!

This place is quite beautiful, we went and there was literally no one else in the gardens. If you have been to Buchart Gardens in Victoria, BC you will be disappointed by Airlie Gardens, but overall it was pretty cool, only $9.00 a person to get in. Great to do with your wife!

It was beautiful, I loved it, it was so romantic! I'm going again in spring so I can see more flowers! The only thing you might wanna do is wear bug spray!

Airlie Gardens is one of my favorite places in the world. I even got married there this past June. The grounds are gorgeous, well kept, and they even have outdoor concerts in the summer. Take your family, walk around, take pictures. You're going to want to come back again and again to see what this historic place has to offer!!!
