There are a few highlights of the garden, particularly some archways and lookout points, and is definitely a relaxing place to walk around. A nice place for photography opportunities, will probably go back to snap some pics. Plants and flowers weren't awesome, but I don't know too much about plants. The butterfly cage was pretty disappointing too. All in all,... More

Beautiful gardens and scenery. Enjoyed learning a little history of the gardens @ the visitors center but think that there needs to be better signage & more information to highlight the early history of the land as well as the estate & other areas of interest when out walking the property. Map/ brochure provided needs more details. Markers with arrows... More

I've been to Airlie in the middle of the day in the Summer and at night for their Christmas event. For both visits, I enjoyed myself immensely. It's a lot of walking, so bring good shoes. The staff was so pleasant and helpful and the grounds are beautifully kept. They have different exhibits and concerts all the time, so it's... More

Airlie is great for all ages. There is a tram for those with mobility issues -- or if you're just ready for a ride. The walkways are well kept. The butterfly house delightful. The gardens were once home to Pembroke and Sarah Jones -- they put platforms up in the trees for their dinner parties. As you meander the paths,... More

Airlie is a little lackluster. They have some nice gardens and flowers and the property is nice in general, but its not quite what one would expect from such a large place. They have a great area for weddings and other functions but if you're just looking to stroll around a garden and check out the plant life you will... More

We are visiting from out of state and decided to check out the 450+ year old tree at Airlie, along with the rest of the gardens. This is a beautiful place that has been restored by the county. Peaceful, easy to traverse, and they have a tram if you choose to ride. Fragrant jasmine, beautiful old Live Oaks, and many... More

While especially lovely in the Spring with lots of blooming flowers, Airlie is a treat any time of the year. Don't miss the concerts in the summer and the Christmas lights in December!

We have been to Airlie Gardens many times for special events or just to enjoy the beauty of the gardens. Christmas time with the decorations are particularly enjoyable, especially with grandchildren along, but any time is well worth the effort.

If you have never been here one word GO! The gardens and ponds are spectacular. The Bottle Chapel is the most amazing thing we have ever seen. It is so beautiful and so creative and we can spend hours there just looking at it. Always nice but the springtime when the azaleas are blooming is the best time.

Airlie is a pleasant place to visit all year round. Especially beautiful in the spring with all the flowering azaleas and dogwoods but equally impressive to stroll under the giant live oaks and enjoy the view over Bradley Creek. Don't miss Enchanted Airlie from Thanksgiving to Christmas when the garden is open in the evenings to view the spectacular lights... More
