Great performance

Impressed with how professional the performance was. The small theater allows everyone to have a good seat. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable.

This is also known as Level 5, since it is located in the top of a very old building, on Front Street. Many are afraid to use the elevator, and if you don't, you do have 5 stories of stairs to climb. The place is old & quaint. They offer some great shows. That is the good news. The bad... More

This is a great place, great view and Trailer Park Musical is hilarious. We have seen many plays, surf movies and music here. This is a great local place.

They consistently have very fine productions. The issue many people I know have is with their venue. On the top floor of an old wood building with an old elevator and lots of stairs. Use caution if you go.

Fabulous shows, casual, and right on top level of "Level 5" Wilmingtons rooftop bar. Fun place, and always can catch a great show whether it be comedy or a play. Prices are reasonable, seating is plenty, and VIP tbles avail.

City Stage Theatre is set in the heart of downtown Wilmington. Architecturally it is an interesting venue that could use some updates. The AC/heat, carpets, elevator and bathrooms are pretty run down. I have never seen a bad performance at City Stage. They put on great work. Plan your evening to include a drink on the roof top bar to... More

This is an excellent venue, especially if you sit up front at one of their cafe tables. Tables seat 2 or 4 people. I have seen 7-8 plays here. There is also a bar, called Level 5, right beside the theater. You get a rooftop view of all of downtown Wilmington from this vantage point. Actually, it is worth going... More

Have seen some awe inspiring shows at City Stage. Great musicals geared more toward adult audiences.

City Stage always puts on top-notch shows including (recently) Next to Normal, Spring Awakening, Chicago, The Full Monty. The productions, from sound and lights to performance quality, are always really, really good!! However, the facilities are located on the 5th story of an ancient former Masonic Temple. The tiny, also ancient elevator only works with a key (and is scary... More

Nice small venue in historic building. Great productions. Go to the roof top bar before the show and enjoy the view of the city.
