My friend and I very much enjoyed our sunset cruise, which was one of the highlights of our trip to the Wilmington area! The captain, his wife, and crew were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We would highly recommend this cruise, which has great views of Wilmington from the water, and of the scenic banks of this important estuary.

I was the youngest on the evening cruise and single aboard. The staff are great, family like and the trip is great. Snacks, punch rum drinks and smooth sailing. Don't miss out.

Took the tour on April 11th and we really enjoyed it. Everybody was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot of history and information about the area. Can't wait to take the Civil War tour!

My husband and I booked the Saturday evening cruise to celebrate my birthday and enjoy a close up view of the fireworks. Captain Doug and his wife are lovely people and just as welcoming as they were the first time we cruised with them. We enjoyed the heavy hors d'oeuvres and the fireworks were amazing. Doug mentioned putting together a... More

I have lived in the Cape Fear region for about a year and a half. The Wilmington Water Tour has become a regular event for me. Love the crew; always welcoming. Capt. Doug is very knowledgable about the river and area. I always learn something new. It is a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend part of your day!!

Two friends from out of town and I took the Sunset and Fireworks Cruise on the Saturday during the Azalea Festival. Captain Doug and his wife made every feel welcome and introduced us to the Cape Fear river and the new development planned on the waterfront. Only about 40 passengers so comfortable and not overwhelming. Other passengers were very friendly... More

Not as expected. Thought this would be a learning or history tour, it was not. Did get info on the area where the "new" development is going in. I would not do this tour again.

I appreciate your feedback. Are you positive that you were on our boat? We do indeed spend about 5 minutes of the 50 minute cruise showing you the new growth area on the NE Cape Fear, but the rest of trip is focused on the history and ecology of the area. Do you remember being told about the rice culture... More

Everyone from the ticket sales girl to the captain was SO nice. They were very inviting and made us so comfortable. The bartender was great, and the captain was very informative. I learned several things about it Wilmington that I'd never known, even after several vacations there. Even my five year old son enjoyed it. We will make this part... More

Went on a two hour tour with my son. Parking in the area is a challenge, so arrive early! Very informative and relaxing. Ship is spotless (including restroom) Refreshments and snacks available. Very gracious hosts. Would highly recommend.

This is our version of a classroom on the water, come aboard, grab a drink and sit down for a cruise to remember. The history of this area is abundant, what a great way to see & learn about Wilmington than from the water. More

We took the hour narrated tour. Capt Ed was very friendly and knowledgeable. His first mate, Andrew was very polite. His wife was so sweet. We enjoyed all the history as well as plans for the future River walk. Great way to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and learn a thing or two. Highly recommend. (Our younger daughters entertained the... When we had our boat built we made sure it would provide a safe & comfortable ride, then we added a full bar, and most importantly we have Captain Doug who loves to share the the Cape Fear River area with all who come aboard....it is a perfect recipe "Just Add Water" More
