Between the City, and private property owners, I have never seen such a sick approach to parking. Towing of cars is epidemic! Private owners ticket people in their lots. (There is no legal basis for it; ignore the ticket, and ensuing letters. Be warned though, these clowns turn the alleged violation over to collections agencies!)

Historic district in Wilmington is great. Lots of stuff to do, restaurans, stores. You may recognize it from varous tv shows that were filmed there.

If you are visiting Wilmington, NC and if you are interested in its history be sure to take the Horse Trolly ride, it's worth every penny, actually $12 plus tip if your guide is good. We enjoy great walks in this district. Don't miss the model train museum which everyone can enjoy. Lots of great restaurants, ice cream and the Cotton Exchange are a must see. Don't miss the home of 1 Tree Hill tv show.

Thats exactly what this place is a quiet walk, take a walk along any of the streets in the historical district or take the trolley and learn all about downtown wilimington and you definitely won't be disappointed. There are alot of renovations taking place as well as the beautify Wilm project so there are alot of exciting things to see...
