Roadside zoo

Decent roadside zoo. Very clean. Yes some of the cages could be larger but all animals seemed healthy, staff was helpful.

I felt sorry for some of the animals. The young giraffe was all alone and looked very sad, the bear, lion and tiger are in cages to small for them. Some same species birds were in different cages when they should have been together. But the animals seemed to be well cared for. I would go again

My husband has been coming here since he was a child and this was my first visit. After reading all the poor reviews I was skeptical--but there was no need. This is obviously a well-run establishment! No, it is not a state-of-the-art million dollar "fancy-dancy" zoo. But it's a clean, fun, organized family -run operation. The animals seemed healthy and... More

Despite other reviews Tregembo is a great place full of caring workers. My family and I have been going here since I was a child. Not your typical Zoo, all animals have been rescued and most of the admission fee goes to support the animals. Enclosures were clean, obviously attended too before park opening (rake marks on ground were fresh)... More

Family owned and operated. Well maintained and very affordable. Animals are well kept. You can feed most all the animals! You are up close to all and definitely worth it!

Just went back to this zoo with my youngest son, 12 years old, and a friend with 3 other children 12 and under. We all loved the visit! The animals are very healthy and there are so many new additions since I last visited a couple of years ago. There are added walk through shaded shelters, bathrooms, new fencing, enlarged... More

This is one of the most disgusting, cruelest, saddest places I've ever seen. I'm going to be honest I don't like zoos or what they stand for and I only went to this to see for myself how the animals are being treated. Enclosures are small dirty have protruding nails and dangerous things for the animals to get hurt on.... More

From the outside the Tregembo Animal Park looks like one of those dumpy attractions your mother made you stop at when taking summer trips long ago; however this place is well worth the trip! It may not be the San Diego Zoo, but it has monkeys, tigers, a lion, and a beautiful brown bear. Bring your extra quarters to buy... More

Just visited the zoo with my two Grandkids. After reading some not so favorable reviews I'll have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It could not have been cleaner both the park and the cages. There wasn't a bit of trash or smell throughout. Being an animal lover I was pleased to see that the animals were healthy and well... More

We try to go each year. Its small, but theres a wide variety of animals. Wish habitats were bigger, animals dont all seem miserable. It gives local families a place to.go.to see a zoo. It gets you up close to them, so you can actually see them.
