We came here on vacation to visit friends who live here in Wilmington and thought this would be fun. This was the favorite activity on our trip by far!! Richard, the owner, was very informative on the historical portion of the tour and very friendly. The Segway's were very easy to learn to drive and a ton of fun! A... More

We treated 4 teens/young adults to a tour of the Wilmington Riverfront and they had a BLAST! The owner was their guide and the "kids" had so much fun and learned quite a bit of interesting history as well. The tour was safe and the guide was "cool" and "knowledgeable". We will do this for the kids again and probably... More

We were visiting Wilmington and decided to try Cape Fear Segway. Richard, the owner, created a tour to meet our plans. So, he trained just two of us and off we went. Richard is very friendly, patient, and interesting, having worked in film before owning Cape Fear Segway. We toured the older neighborhoods near the Waterfront and he pointed out... More

This was my 13th time on a Segway - that's how much I like them. I bought a coupon knowing I would be heading to Wilmington at some point. The owner, Richard, was super accommodating when the first scheduled trip was rained out as was the second. He let me use the coupon beyond the expiration date. I was so... More

Our tour guide was amazing and funny and made us very comfortable learning to ride the segway. Best tour hands down.

What fun ! A great way to see Wilmington. Damon, the guide, was magnificent, interesting, entertaining, and patient. The tour itself was the historical + waterfront. A great two hours. Viewed and reviewed history, architecture, water front boardwalk, all in an entertaining, fun way. I would recommend it for sure.

My family went on the two hour tour today for my husbands 50th birthday. No experience on these, but we didn't have a problem at all. Damond gave us a lot of history and fun facts and we even got to see a movie in production. Would definitely do it again! Had a blast!

Great way to spend a beautiful afternoon along the waterfront. Learned a bit, laughed a lot, met some nice people, and enjoyed our guide, Damon.

I REALLY enjoyed this! It was easy, fun, interesting, educational. Movie fans will like all the insider information about filming in Wilmington. History buffs will also enjoy learning about Wilmington's past and going by the lovely old homes. We're going to start looking for more Segway tours when we vacation. And yes, a grandmother, nearing 70, CAN do this!

Went onh a the 75 minute tour yesterday (Sunday) with a very informative, entertaining movie and television guru who showed us where some movies had been filmed and where the ghosts are hiding. Our guide was awesome (just cannot remember his name) and riding the Segways was a blast. My brother, my niece and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! I... More
