You get to climb on engines, ring the bell and tour about. A lot of history, you can get through quickly or spend hours.

Had a wonderful time here at the Train Museum. I like trains but I'm not big into them but the boyfriend likes them and my uncle LOVES trains. I took as many pictures and video as I could for my uncle since he is in a assisted living center now, he will love to see the pictures and video when... More

I was very surprised with the quality of the museum. Lots of vintage train items from the local area. Train layouts for all ages. Walking distance of down town. Full size train engine an cars outside. Parking near by.

Very large layout of the trains. It was fun to watch the trains run around the very complex scenic tracks. It is great for people that like models.

With all the displays you really find out how the railroad was run back then. It's a good place for kids for they can run the model trains.

We stayed several hours as there is so much to see. My two year old grandchild had a wonderful time with the hands-on trains! Also going into a caboose and hobo car was a great treat. They have done a great job showing the importance in trains in that area. Will go back!

This was a great way to see the role the railway played in Wilmington. It is worth the admission fee just to see the model train display rooms. It isn't a large place, so the kids don't get tired or bored. Just a fun place and make sure you see the caboose and train cars outside.

This was a step back in time for me. I was born in 1944 in Bradenton, Florida( one of the Atlantic Coast Line [ACL] main stops on the west coast of Florida trains. I go back to the steam era and they have a 4 - 6 -0 engine, a great caboose, and a box car. As one person who... More
