This one hour tour was very educational and enjoyable. The guide kept the informational exchange entertaining due to his wit and overall enthusiasm. The area is very charming and the river is beautiful. The guide explained the reason for the dark waters, and provided a very insightful look at Wilmington, the river, and the bridge.

Enjoyed our tour of the Cape Fear River. The tour guide was exceptional in his knowledge. The tour gave us an opportunity to see the port at its busiest.

We enjoyed walking along the River walk very much. A beautiful place to walk. Still to cool for a cruise and the flowers had not started blooming. We would go again.

I have visited Wilmington twice and love this charming area, just to stroll and enjoy the ambiance. I have taken an eco river tour, a mystery dinner tour, eaten at a few restaurants and love the charming shops. Also, a personal walking historical tour of the downtown area. This area has wonderful interest from ecology to it's early history.

We took a tour of the river on a small boat tour. The young woman in charge was very pleasant and had a lot of knowledge to offer in regards to the history of the river and what is happening in the harbor today. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and learned a little bit more about Wilmington in the process.

We took the River Cruise and were so pleased by the service and the information made available to us. My 90 year old mom requires a wheel chair, and the Captain and mate got her up and down the ramp of the boat making it seem like an adventure for her. The only complaint was the talking at the bar... The freight ships are interesting if you are invited on a tour! The food onboard is actually gourmet and fantastic on Sundays! There are some interesting islands at the river. Try Oak Island! There are several abandoned little cabins around....

We took a ferry ride over the river and it was fun. Very efficient loading and unloading. Nice ride even though it was gray and rainy day.

I thought traveling along the river was fun and educational, but I noticed the river was really dirty with brown muddy water. Also there was sticks and big trees floating in the water as well. Over all the trip on the river was a good one.

The area is known to have alligators and on the riverfront ,signs says that the river has strong cureents and no swimming. We stayed on a 45 ft, yacht that was docked near the Henrietta III and the owners said that the river were very treacherous (twice) We went on a small boat ride under a bridge to a marina which...
