I love coming downtown to the cape fear river. They have shops and tons of restaurants. There's even a brewery one street up! Great view and always stuff going on in the area!

How do you review a river?. First of all, it is very wet. Assume that the fish in the river are happy, except when eaten. Sufficiently wide for boats to pass. When sun reflects off river, it hurts the eyes. Something should be done about this. Otherwise its perfect.

There is so much you can do along the Cape Fear River...Take a stroll on the boardwalk, visit Battleship North Carolina, take a boat tour, eat at one of many restaurants or just sit and enjoy its beauty.

Hard to review a river! It's wild, powerful, beautiful in all seasons, nearby our residence and we love it. We enjoy taking the ferry to Southport for the day.

Nice safe walk. Great places to eat. Water does not stink like most rivers do. Can be windy! There are river boat tours you can take from the dock.

Amazing to walk down on the observation area and look at how fast the river moves through this area. You can understand how and why it got it's name!!
