My husband and I played at Sequoyah National Golf Course on Tuesday November 11th. It was a beautiful day and the temp was around 72 degrees. We were told the golf course was under new management and the old owners didn't want to put any money in it and the new owners had only had it a short time, but... More

Looking at the previous reviews it appears that things went south during the summer because this is the worst playing conditions any of our foursome encountered in over 40 years of playing golf. The tee boxes were none existent, the fairways were barren and they had to mark the ground with blue lines to indicate where they were. The course... More

The course is in absolutely terrible condition. It looks like it is a victim of winter kill and there has been no effective mitigation. As a result, many of the tee boxes are lost, vast areas of the fairways have been lost, and the greens are a disaster. That comment in the pro shop about "some greens are still recovering... More

We played this course on Oct. 1, 2014 and paid $75 each. The day before we played, we stopped at the course to look at it and make the reservation. The practice green next to the clubhouse looked fine. Well, the full 18 holes were a total contrast. Tragically, the course has been lost. The fairways are dead. You're lucky... More

Firstly, let me say that 15 of the 18 holes are fun to play and visually beautiful. However, a couple of years ago the greens superintendent was fired and Troon sent help. Two months ago the course was much better, but two days ago it had returned to its sorry condition. Although most of the greens were decent, they decided... More

55 dollars worth of rip off!!!!! The tee boxes were non-existant the "fairways" were baron and when you got to the greens or whats left of them you wondered why there weren't windmills and clowns cause it was goofy at it's best. Seriously the designer of the greens should be flogged at the stake I believe it tier golf but... More

Played this course on a recent golf trip in the Maggie Valley, NC area. Was pleasantly surprised with the scenery and views on the course. The course is managed by the Troon North Group and as expected was well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. A bit pricey but worth it. If you go for 36 holes... More

Great golf experience. Course is in good shape with mouth droping elevation changes. If coming from Atlanta area, beautiful drive along the Nanahala River.

Great fun golf course...looking forward to seeing how it wintered and the "greening of the mountains". An unbelievably beautiful area!
