Diaclaimer: I'm not a serious golfer. I visited this course with my friends on labor day vacation. I love to hike, so the rolling hills of this course were enjoyable and the scenery was classic Appalachian. We had a great time and the staff was very accommodating.

This is a beautiful place to play golf - awesome views and the course was in very good shape. Our group of 7 has varied levels of skill, and everyone was able to play from tees that suited their game. There are some tricky shots, but the GPS on the carts was great and it provided some little tips on... More

Beautiful course within the mountains the Blue Ridge. Take a cart, and enjoy the ups and downs of the course. Challenging but fun

As part of a bachelor party weekend we played a round on this course. A few miles north of Asheville this course is situated in hilly town of Weaverville. While the entire foursome was a little foggy from the previous evenings escapades (Cherokee Casino, nuff said) the drizzly start to the morning didn’t impact our game. The clubhouse is spacious,... Hilly mountain course with great views, blind shots, elevated tee boxes, some very steep slopes. Probably the worst maintained golf course I have ever played in my life. Unplayable lies on the fairway, can not find your ball in the too high rough, bunkers that are simply horrendous, greens were in decent shape for the most part. Play somewhere else... More

Could be a very nice course, but poorly maintained. First fairway had more bare ground than grass. Many other fairways in poor condition. Rough cut unevenly with many weeds. Many scenic views, but didn't make up for the poor course conditions.

I've played this course once a year since it first opened and it is sad to see how much it has deteriorated. When it opened it was a lovely course. Now the cart paths are washed out in quite a few places and the sand traps are a mess. It is definitely not a course for beginners. I hope it... More

I'm stunned that the three reviews from 2014 were positive. This is a GREAT piece of land, and in years past this was a wonderful, but quirky mountain golf course. Now it's just a mess. From the practice range where you can hardly find a piece of grass on which to set your ball to the post round grill, which... More
