Took the family, all ages. Staff was vety helpful and safety concious. Some of the trails are a bit steep, so hang on and follow your guide.

Not much help when starting. Took my wife and the two kids (8 and 10) they did not have helmets (we used bicycle ones) Saddle did not fit my son well. Once half way up mountain, one of the riders fell off his horse with a medical condition. No first aid kit or way to communicate with office (there was... More

I was hoping the positive reviews of Queen’s Farm Stables were right, but I found that the critical ones were unfortunately the accurate ones. This stable is obviously run on a shoestring. It is dilapidated. The bridle on my horse broke twice and the guide had to retie it with the hay string that had broken. Yes, the bridle had... More

2nd time only thing good was the price! Please Please don't let this be ur first experience. Pay the money go th Cataloochee. The trail is horrible. The horses r only good if ur 5yrs old or under. The guides treat everyone like they're stupid. I'm an experienced rider. The guide couldn't take a minute to speak to me about... More

I made reservations 2 days in advance for 4 of my grandchildren, 3 girls and an 8 yr.old boy. My daughters asked me to request a female trail guide. We were assured we would get one when she returned to work, so we waited an extra day to get her. When arriving today for a 10 AM ride, we were... More

The horses are more well mannered than the staff, whose state of sobriety is questionable. They won't get another dime from me. #justsayno

So at first look this place was not what I was thinking .. But the ride was amazing Wear jeans and closed toed shoes because the trail is truly a real ride up the mountain. My kids loved how the trail was there but not perfectly manicured to make it not feel like a real ride. Great price too for... More

We rode for two hours up to the top and back. Quiet, relaxing, breathtaking views (of course), no frills locals, western saddles, and I would certainly ride again. My only complaint was being mortified that a MORBIDLY OBESE woman was allowed to torture the poor horse that had the misfortune of carrying something that weighed as much as he did... More
