Great shop with many unique wines. Wine tastings also. Prices are about right. Only downside is owner puts his own sticker over UPC so you can not scan the wines in wine apps to learn about wine and what it's price should be.

I have lived in Wake Forest for the past 9 years after moving back to NC from IN. I have bought wine at Seaboard, Wine Merchant, April and George (when it was in business), Total Wine, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, and other retail / grocery shops over the years. If you enjoy wine and/or beer and have not been to 101, you are missing a gem! This local wine shop has great wine, great beer, great staff and great people who frequent the place. Free wine tastings on Fri eve and Sat afternoons, wine events and classes and just really fun and knowledgable folks who want you to enjoy... More
