My family and I (a party of 9) planned a cabin trip in the mountains. We all decided that we wanted to go horseback riding. I began to do research and came across Dutch Creek Trails. At first, I wasn't sure that my family would enjoy it (it's literally a farm in the mountains and we are "city folk" from... More

Guides were friendly and horses were perfect! If you're looking for fancy this isn't the place. But if you're looking for incredible views, wonderful people and a memorable experience head on over. Overall a great experience, can't wait to go back! Price is great too, very reasonable for the area!

My family and I found this place online, called, and Keith (the owner) got us in the same day. We arrived to a hearty welcome from Keith who gave us the rundown of what to expect and then Justin picked us up and shuttled us to the staging area via tractor. My group of four included two elementary-age school children... More

This was a last minute idea my husband had. We are so glad we went. The owners are sweet and welcoming. I was scared because I had never been on a horse before. They gave me Red and she was super gentle. We had a group of six and the guides picked your individual horses for you after meeting you.... More

Myself, my husband, and 6 year old son thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Dutch Creek Trails. From the friendly staff and horses, to the beautiful surroundings and entertaining dogs, it was so great, we wanted to go back the next day. It was only $50 a person for over an hour of fun. It was charming and peaceful. I highly recommend... More

It is difficult to find a place to go riding in the mountains. We wanted to take our 7 year old granddaughter horseback riding and we're very pleased with our experience. This is the country at its best. Keith is hilarious and entertaining. This is not for the experienced rider but is great for someone who wants to have fun.... More

These are good down home folks & they want you to have a nice time. Sometimes dogs go with you sometimes not, sometimes the trail hands carry a gun, sometimes not. This is not some fancy equestrian ride it is a good old trail ride into the nearby surrounding hills. We have been a few times and have always enjoyed... More

Could title this the Travis and Charlie show! They showed us a great time on a trip with spectacular views. VERY friendly, they made for a relaxing ride. Our party consisted of three and they made it very personal for us. The horses were smooth and responsive and looked well taken care of. I've rode other trail horses that go... More

Keith is extremely friendly and makes everyone feel like family. He can demonstrate the proper way to use the rope swing by the office and you're in for a treat! Ryan & Charlie were our trail guides and excellent the whole way. Being inexperienced and nervous, they provided reassurance and made me feel comfortable with the horses. Beautiful ride and... More
