Wonderful greens. Tee Times are probably necessary... A bit pricer than other courses but they do have seasonal specials...Nice course.

We play Lion's Paw every year when we hold our annual Kings Point week of golf. It is a good and fair course with some interesting holes. Service in the pro shop is good. Price is reasonable.

My wife and I were paired with 2 men, who played slow enough to be warmed for slow play. We do not live there and haven't played there again.

Lion's Paw is my least favorite of the four courses at Ocean Ridge. But the course has new greens and is in better shape overall than it was several years ago. It has been raining a lot in August and the cart rules were 90 degrees. Course was wet with no roll and played much longer than the card indicates.... More

We booked Lions Paw with the thought that we would be playing a very well kept course. Upon entrance, the facilty appears to be well kept, and the staff was fine. We played in May and figured the course would be in excellent shape as were the other courses we chose for that week. (Cape Fear National, Thistle,,etc..) This was... More

Thanks for playing Lion's Paw, the Original Big Cat Course. We hope you enjoyed the new MiniVerde greens. You had to be among the very first to play them last summer! We expect many years of awesome putting surfaces as these new greens continue to mature. Thanks again. More

Played 36 holes today. 18 at Lions Paw and 18 at Panthers Run which I played and reviewed yesterday. Lions Paw to me was just ok. Greens were very hard and made it tough to hold any shot and they were extremely fast. Fairways were in decent shape but really tight especially the way the wind was blowing. I am... More

Thanks for playing two rounds at The Big Cats Courses. Lion's Paw and Panther's Run are the older two of our four layouts and have been favored by locals and visitors for nearly 20 years. Hopefully you enjoyed the new MiniVerde greens on both course, which we expect to continue to mature and offer supreme putting surfaces for many years... More
