A group of 7 women made our first golf trip to Myrtle Beach and had the wonderful fortune of playing Thistle - North & West. The course is challenging, beautiful and is in outstanding shape. My husband and I played at Thistle Golf Club the first week in October and loved it! There are a total of 27 holes and we played the "North" and " South" sides. Declaration of bias: I consider Thistle the best course in the entire Grand Strand. However, that opinion is based on numerous visits and consistently great service and conditions. To quote a friend of mine, every time you've played a course what do you evaluate or remember more than anything else? 9/10 times the answer is "the greens." Thistle's are as... more
