A great layout for interesting golf. Not a course that requires a driver on every hole because the course is built around the natural contours of the earth including lakes and marshland. If you can't hit it straight bring plenty of balls and watch out for the alligators. Great fun course and plays all of its handicap.

Nice course, greens were in good shape, fairways are good. Food was really great. Could use some improvements with golf cart paths, mannerism of some staff. Great course to play,

The cart paths are crumbling, the driving range is a cow pasture, at the end of April many greens were in poor shape with big open sore patches, the snack cart did not pass us once the entire 18. There are houses along almost all of the fairways. Many of the fairways and rough had bear patches and in bad... More

We played this course last week for the first time. Very impressed with the course and layout, they have really used the location along tidal ponds and estuaries to advantage. we started in fog which cleared to a fine day, but it was funny to realize those 'logs' we saw on the first hole or so were alligators. A lot... More

Great place to end your golf trip to Myrtle Beach if you are heading back north. Course was in great shape. The scenery was beautiful with water coming into play on many holes. Was not overbooked like the other Legends courses were during our trip.

Played here in early November and the course was near perfect. Had a few tee boxes that were thin and a few fairways that were thin but as a whole this place was spectacular. Bag Drop was pretty hectic when we pulled up but the guy was busting his hump that's for sure...probably could've used one more guy to help.... More

I just played the course for the first time. I was told by many of my golfing friends how great of the course it is. Staying and playing in the Myrtle Beach area made this trip a longer drive than the other courses. It's not that far of a drive but a half hour longer than the other courses. Upon... More

My favorite course on Grand Strand. Challenging, scenic but fair layout. It has a lot of water holes, strategically trapped and is in good shape most of the time. Quick greens that can have some tough pens. Dan Maples used the land very naturally.

Course in great shape. Good breakfast and lunch special offered at time of visit. Saw some alligators around the many ponds.

My wife and I played there on June 25th, 2014. Course was beautiful and everyone who works there from the bag drop guys, the staff in the pro shop and ladies in the snack bar to the great guy who was the starter....and green fees include free breakfast, 2 drinks a piece and free lunch. We are not great golfers,... More
