All three of the courses at Sea Trail (Jones, Byrd & Maples) are in great shape this season. Tee to greens have been well cared for by the new owners. Rates are less tha you find on the "Grand Strand" Courses but the value is here in Brunswick County. Since we moved to the area with get to see these... More

I played the Jones course last winter and found it to be a fun layout. They were in the middle of renovating the bunkers, which were by the way in terrible shape and in dire need of rebuilding. Only one hole had bunkers not yet renovated, and three others were in the course of renovation. There were a wide variety... More

This is a nice course. Sea Trail is a great place to visit, stay on vacation, and has 3 great courses. Great for golfers and families.

As I live on this course I have first hand knowledge of the care for this course. The greens are usually in very nice condition. The sandt raps have had a complete makeover and are excellent. The fairways are fairly generous. Complaints are that the course does not drain well in wet conditions and the cart paths are in terrrible... More

Reese Jones did a fine job on one of his early layouts. All of the many traps have been completely renovated and are excellent. The greens ar bent which can have a little problem in July and August but are good the rest of the year. A very respected course where a US Open qualifier has been played. GO PLAY.

I just returned from a "guys" week (16 of us). We arrived over an hour early for our tee-time to be abruptly told by the bag drop staff that we were NOT on the Tee Sheet! Once that issue was resolved we started what we had hoped would be the 1st of 3 days of golf at this property. The... More

Staff just does not care.Golf course has an interesting design but is badly maintained. Had to look for our ball in the dead grass almost on every hole. The greens were in awful shape. Will never play there again. With the number of golf courses in Myrtle Beach you can do much bette with your hard earned money

Very rude attendant at bag drop...got the impression he was't happy that we showed up for our 3:25 tee time. Very poor playing conditions on front nine with some improvement on back side. Greens are in extremely poor shape and fairways were not much better. There are plenty of better options within ten to fifteen minutes of Sea Trails.

I have only been playing for a year and found this course very playable. The staff at the bag drop was very nice and personable, the grounds were nicely kept. We had a photo taken of our foursome at the 1st tee, which is a nice momento. There were some challenging holes, but none that gave me too difficult a... More
