FYI- if you go to BHI don't get the guided tour trip waste of money. Use there phone guided system to do the tour yourself and either rent a golf cart or bicycle. If you are walker than know that you get a one time FREE round trip on the tram. Just go up to the ticket counter and ask.... More

The tab seems pricey ... $57/person ... but includes round trip transportation on the Bald Island Ferry ($27.50/person), a 1.5 hour tour of Bald Head Island with an excellent guide, admission to Old Baldy Lightouse ($5/person), a 10% discount at the gift store and a $10/person coupon for lunch at Mojo's on the Harbor. This is a great way to spend a half day or so when you are visiting Southport. The ferry ride is fun, too.
