A must visit whilst in York, the collection of motor vehicles is superb. Visiting this museum really takes you back in time, great venue for a great gatsby evening.

Just 100 kms from Perth is time-warp town called York, set in the wheat belt area. The museum needs a good hour to go around. A fine collection of motors dating from 1905 plus motor bikes and early cycles with many items of motor memorabilia to occupy your time, including many medals from the Monaco Grand Prix. Posters and advertising... More

Great to see a variety of vehicles I never knew existed. The entry fee was cheap.Perhaps it would be nice to talk to someone who could answer some of the technical questions.

It waa worth visiting. A pleasant trip down memory lane. It was nice that you could walk around the cars to enable you to see the interiors.

Travelled from Perth on Saturday 3rd October and arrived at the Museum at 1:40pm only to have the woman inside shut the door in our faces and turn the Open sign to Closed! The museum was supposed to be open until 2pm!! Mentioned this to one of the shop owners across the road and she said that there had been... More

Reasonable collection of somewhat interesting vehicles in a classic old garage in the main street of York. Most of the exhibits had information boards and were not roped off enabling close inspection. Also some motoring memorabilia and model cars in display cases. Afterwards we went to the Motor Museum of WA in Whiteman Park which is much bigger and better.

We arrived in York shortly before closing time, but the staff member made us feel welcome and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the collection. In hindsight, I didn't see the historic Tatra pictured, but there's plenty of other automotive gems for the enthusiast to get emotional over!

It's nice that most cars are not fenced off, so you can take a good look around the car and look in side. Some of the cars are old classics, part of Australian history, and a few odd ones like a brand new 3 wheel Morgan, rare so see, so a special treat that it was there. Some of the... More

Interesting and varied collection of cars and car memorabilia. The information and stories about each car was helpful. Not the cleanest or newest place but still well worth a visit if in York.

York Motor Museum has undergone a big renovation and now it looks much more modern. With visiting again if you haven't been to York for a while.
