This museum is well worth the drive from Perth. Interesting collection of really different cars and motor bikes. Lots of information about the cars and it is all well displayed. Staff mentioned that they will close in February for the Museum's annual maintenance and renovation. York can be hot in Summer, so it is better to visit in the morning.

What a disappointment after travelling nearly 2 hrs only to find the place closed. Sign on door says open 9.30am to 2.30pm we arrived at 1pm. A passing local said it was normal for the place to close early without notice.

A varied collection of US and Australian motor cars, bikes and collectibles. Sadly, most of the collection was covered in a thick coating of dust, as well as a multitude of flat tyres and general disrepair. Unacceptable considering that one has to pay money to view this collection - most of this could be resolved with some effort and TLC

This museum has a great collection of historic and current cars. Some real special ones you would see in normal museum. Easy stroll through all the cars and very well laid out.

A must visit whilst in York, the collection of motor vehicles is superb. Visiting this museum really takes you back in time, great venue for a great gatsby evening.

Just 100 kms from Perth is time-warp town called York, set in the wheat belt area. The museum needs a good hour to go around. A fine collection of motors dating from 1905 plus motor bikes and early cycles with many items of motor memorabilia to occupy your time, including many medals from the Monaco Grand Prix. Posters and advertising... More

Great to see a variety of vehicles I never knew existed. The entry fee was cheap.Perhaps it would be nice to talk to someone who could answer some of the technical questions.

It waa worth visiting. A pleasant trip down memory lane. It was nice that you could walk around the cars to enable you to see the interiors.

Travelled from Perth on Saturday 3rd October and arrived at the Museum at 1:40pm only to have the woman inside shut the door in our faces and turn the Open sign to Closed! The museum was supposed to be open until 2pm!! Mentioned this to one of the shop owners across the road and she said that there had been... More
