We visited Dan Nicholas Park today, and thoroughly enjoyed it! We started our day on the large playground near the entrance. There are several play sets for kids of all sizes, and swings. There is also a mini golf course next to the playground, but we didn't have a chance to play today. There was too much else to do!... More

Dan Nicholas remains one of our favorite places to visit in Salisbury. Great camping, paddle boats, petting zoo, splash pad, playground, carousel, choo choo train, and so much more. There are some fantastic pavilions for picnics, too. This park is great for all ages, but particularly for young families. More

I love the pond, fishing options, camping, feeding the ducks, walking the path around the pond. Panning for gems. Visiting the petting zoo and seeing the other animals in the other zoo. The playground for the children, miniature golf. So many more things to do! Great place to take the kids!!! More

What I love about this park is that it offers something for all ages. Shelters have to be rented in advance in order to get a good space. They have a huge children's playground area. They have rides (around a 1.00 each) for all ages. Zoo area, large lake area where you can fish or ride paddle boats. Any family... More

For a small park in the middle of nowhere, they have so much to offer; an antique carousel, a small zoo, paddle boats, fishing, hiking, camping, mini golf, playgrounds, picnic areas and more... More

This is a great park in the country. My five year old loves the playground and feeding the ducks at the pond. On the weekends the carousel and mini train are great fun for the little ones. We all love the 2.4mile trail in the woods for a nice walk. More

This is a very large park with most of the area still in its natural setting. Still they have room for a splash area, zoo, fishing lake, merry-go-round, tennis court, campground and walking trail. I would think that someone would be hard press not to find something they like there. It's hard to find a park anymore that has real... More

Stop into this park and enjoy the paddle boats, play miniature golf or ride the vintage train. This park has picnic tables available as well as shelters that may be rented for the day for family events. Don't forget to check out teh Autumn Jubilee the first weekend in October for the perfect opportunity to find some handmade Christmas gifts,... More
