This place is geared for families and groups with younger children, but my teenager and I still had a great time. We took the train ride and rode the carousel, which was a lot of fun. There's a water plaza where children of all ages can get as wet as they want standing next to the fountains of water shooting... More

Visiting family and spent the morning here. Had a fun, fascinating time at the sluice trough with our buckets. We found many beautiful specimens of several different types of crystals, gem stones and fossils. The nature center was interesting with several reptiles. There is a mini golf course, camping area for RVs and plenty of areas to walk. We finished... More

This is a great spot for families for a day out. Lots of reasonably priced attractions, lots of room to roam and swing sets, etc to play on.

Went there to take a peek and looked very nice. They have some rides (which were closed since we went there late in the day). Will definitely return to this location - everything was nice and clean and very neat.

Greetings; we visited here in July 2015. This is a nice park, very big with lots of activities for all ages. There appears to be plenty of parking as well areas to set up a picnic. You can see the park staff working all over the place keeping the park very clean and serviceable. There is plenty of shade and... More

Took our kids from church out for the day. Lots for them to do.Petting zoo, aquarium, train, carousel. Their favorite of course was the splash pad. Everything is close together. Plenty of shaded area for picnics. The staff are very friendly and patient with children.

I have had family and corporate events here. It works for both type options, is kid friendly, and accomodating. Check with staff for any special needs.

We took a group of kids from church to the park for the day and it was so much fun. We enjoyed the carousel, petting zoo, train, gem mine, wildlife park, and the splash park. There are so many things for everyone to enjoy here. We also had a nice picnic in one of the picnic areas.

We took the kids to Dan Nicholas Park for the day to get out of town and do something together. This was our first time visiting the park and we will go back. The cost was very reasonable to us and are always looking for things to do that are more economical with the size of our family. It was... More

I enjoyed Dan Nicholas more when it was a nature park. It is geared to small children. I think I would have loved it if I still had small children.
