Fantastic park to pack a picnic, hangout with family, toss the football around, and to enjoy the various features the park offers. Sand volleyball courts, outdoor playgrounds, walking paths, all of which are no cost. The other features, mini golf, train, carousel, barnyard, small zoo, and gem mining have a small cost to participate in. Just a tip...some of the... More

Visited yesterday with my daughter and nieces ( ages 7 to 13 ) they rode the small train, carousel , went on a picnic and played on the playground. Their favorite activity was by far the gem mining....it is a must!

Great place for a family day out, so many area's for enjoying a picnic, or just take a stroll around the lake. You can hire a pedalo and sail on the lake or try the Wurlitzer and even the miniature train ride. So much to do and a really low cost fun day. It was free to enter when I... More

Once you have been here, you have done it. We have gone many times here for family reunions. 30 plus years. ENOUGH. The first was enough. Same thing over and over. In fact, it was better 30 years ago as it was more natural. Don't waste your time.

i love this park. it has everything: train, carousel, zoo, indoor wildlife, playground, aquarium, miniature golf, mining, paddle boats, fishing, rentable shelters for get-togethers, etc. the best thing is everything is dirt cheap when compared to anywhere else. we're heading back this tuesday after easter.

Wonderful park with lots to see and do. I love the paddle boats. My grandsons enjoy the animals and snakes. On a hot day, the splash pad is a popular place for the kids to cool off. Lots of playground equipment to play as well a miniture golf. Plan to spend a few hours when visiting. Bring a lunch! Plenty... More

Dan Nicolas is the place to take the family for a hike in the woods, Geocaching, playground, camping, or a birthday party in one of the shelters. Activities like riding a paddle boat or the miniature train, playing putt putt, or strolling through the little zoo cost a small fee. A nice nature center & gem mining are also on... More

So neat, and so many things to do. Very affordable. I do wish they stayed open a little later. I would go here much more often but its about an hour and a half away. The paddle boats are great. This place makes for an awesome one day mini-vacation.
