Took my boys (16 & 5) and it was awesome. We decided on the spur. The staff was wonderful. Both boys found something to enjoy. We did the paddle boats, carousel, train and playground. Loved every minute. The price was great. $12 for 3 for all that we did. We will be back to do more before the summer is... More

My wife and I took two of our grandsons (ages 3 and 5) to the park for play time and a picnic. It is clearly a popular place - we arrived early, but by the time we left the parking lot was full. There are a lot of activities for kids: paddle boats, playgrounds, kiddie rides and a small water... More

This is the perfect park if you want to just let the kids run free and your boyfriend/husband/fiance' wants to fish. You can keep everything except the Bass.. They are catch and throw. There are water moccasins in the water too. They have paddle boats, A carousel, Gem mine, a train ride and plenty of grills and shelters. I would... More

This is a great park! There's no admission fee and everything is inexpensive, from the carousel to the train to the zoo. A great family friendly place to go for the day! Also, the campground is great. The sites are large and wooded and it is kept very clean.

We made our first trip to Dan Nicholas Park 2 weekends ago. We were pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do. While they offer paddle boats, fishing, hiking and various other outdoor events, I will keep my review to what we actually did. We took our 1.5 year old, so stuck to most of the kid centered attractions.... More

This park is great and we have always loved to go here and the campground is really nice. However, they have the rudest woman running the campground ever. She is like a bear. She accused us of not paying for one of the days that we were there (which really caught us off guard since we knew we had paid... More
