This is ideal to visit as it's only 1km from the Wave Rock. Nice walking trail and you'll definitely not be disappointed.

This could be reached by car for those that might not be able to walk the distance. It is huge. The walk was lovely walking through bush at the bottom of the rock formation.

Was a nice morning stroll not to strenuous first thing. Path from Rock is well signposted. The Yawn itself is quiet impressive.

When you are at Wave Rock, it is worth the walk to look at Hippos Yawn. We were there in winter so the walk was not an issue,, On a hot day, driving between might be better.

As you can imagine, this rock formation is aptly entitled. It is certainly worth a visit for 10 min and a few pictures.

Quick walk or short drive. Reminds me of a single small rock on Kangaroo Island at Remarkable Rocks.

nice quiet little area - kids loved being in hippo's mouth and cleaning his teeth with a branch. Good photo opportunity and the rocks around form great shapes too - we seen a turtle

Hippos Yawn is well worth visiting and a popular spot for photos, another amazing sight because of its unexpected large size.
