Just the best winery

Lucky enough to revisit Rockford again whilst visiting the area. The whole feel of the place is steeped in tradition and the wines are fantastic year after year.

Rockford makes great wine, and the cellar door experience was similar to most with the benefit of consistently great wine.

Rockford Winery is our favourite cellar door in the Barossa Valley. Their wines are to die for, and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Home-made condiments are also available for sale. In our opinion, winter is the best time to go there as the atmosphere is so welcoming and warm with the pot-belly stove going full steam ahead! Wine... More

Visited today & loved this winery. The woman on the tastings was lovely & engaging & informative. Some unexpected wines here - hard to choose but walked out with 4 bottles. Could have easily been more if only I had room in the caravan!!

Beautiful setting and the tasting room is worthwhile. Classic Barossa reds big and bold and a great setting to taste them of that's your thing. Beautiful.

This is a small winery with fantastic wines. It is a beautiful winery and is a must see when you visit the Barossa.

We loved heating so much detail about the wines during our tasting - really appreciated the time that was taken to share all the stories and information. We bought several bottles of their delicious wines and loved the gorgeous stone buildings. Strongly recommend stopping here

At Rockford, there is an array of "old" building in the area of the cellar door. What would be good is find out what goes on in the old building, as Rockford does not look like your regular winery with it large stainless steel tanks visible for miles. The building are well maintained and presented. Cellar door staff are helpful,... More

Beautiful wines, hosts and scenery. The cellar door was beautifully and rustically presented. Enjoyed our time, and the wines! Some of the wines were very affordable, prices and vintages ranged.
