We visited this venue on a warmish Sunday afternoon, nice and cooling in the wine tasting area, good wine and friendly staff. Also enjoyed going in to the place where they sold traditional home make products.

Superb wine & venue. However the absolute highlight was Joe who took us through the tastings. Rockford are incredibly lucky to have you!

While on holidays at Adelaide with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago, we met some locals who knew a thing or two about wine, and was suggested to visit this place while we were there, so we did. It was great, had a very, old-time traditional feel to the experience, and the lady serving us and explaining the different... More

We stopped by Rockford wines on our way back to our hotel because we admired the architecture of the historic buildings. Then, of course, as you do, we stopped to taste some wine. The man who served us (I think his name was David) was so knowledgeable about the winery and the history of the area. The wines were delicious... More

We've waited many years for the stars to align so we could make it to the Barossa on a weekday to enjoy a decadent lunch. And it was worth the wait. Delicious fresh locally grown produce perfectly matched with their own wines. I am so proud to be an Australian.

This is my friends favorite winery, they really like the Alicante Bouchet, which I tried and was the best Rose of the day. It's a small, very cool place inside. Old wine barrels in the rafters. They were very busy and the room was stuffed full of folks, but surprising they were very attentive to everyone, which you would expect... More

We visited Rockford for a tasting and then as a "Stone Wall member" and attended their Stone Wall lunch. What a beautiful setting, incredible wine and what great people! The wines tasted included the magnificent Rockford Black Shiraz (sparkling) and the Basket Press as well as Rifle Range Cabernet Sauvignon and Rod & Spur Cab Shiraz blend, just to mention... More

A fabulous 7 course lunch with great matching Rockford wines started at 12 noon and ended at 4.30.. Then next day off to several cellar doors. Henshke, Torbreck, Charles Melton, Langmeil. Fortunately we had Ralf drive us to each venue.

We had the sheer good luck, or should I say, the privilege to attend one of these lunches just this week. What an amazing experience, all aspects were fabulous, from the beautiful wine selections to the perfectly matched food, which has been lovingly grown in their own organic garden. The staff and our dining companions just topped it off. We... More

Take a weekend out of your hectic life and spend time with like minded people cruising the Murray River aboard the PS Marion paddle steamer (one of the oldest wooden, steam powered, passenger carrying paddle steamer in the world). Enjoy fabulous food (prepared by outstanding Australian guest chefs - on a wood burning oven) and glorious Rockford wines. Saturday is... More
