We started a tour of 4 wineries with a group of 10 visiting Pindarie Winery. (we had booked ahead and cost was $5 head including a selection of dipping Apex bakery breads) We had a great tasting by the open fire and were shown the new restored tasting room. The old farm buildings have been done up beautifully and they... More

I was born and raised in the Barossa and this place take me back to my childhood. The view, haystacks and giant pepper tree are what reminds me of the Barossa. The menu is small but this is a good thing, keep it simple and of high quality. Summer lunch on the verandah is wonderful and in the cooler weather,... More

Pindarie Winery was recommended highly by a friend who has his own winery as the place to visit. We weren't disappointed. The location is absolutely stunning. A great view of what the Barossa is about. And the wines were some of the best I tried in the Barossa. Pindarie should be on your visit list when touring the Barossa.

This must be the most beautiful view of the Barossa Valley. The winery serves a selection of cheese & charcuterie boards as well as savoury pies that are made in house -- these are among the best I've had. There are several outside tables and a large room inside. If you are in the Barossa and the weather is good,... More

I had driven past Pindarie on the nearby Gomersal road many times, and made a mental note that one day I should visit Pindarie. Today was the day. The location and the views across the southern Barossa Valley are very good. I could imagine that spring or autumn would be ideal - today was a grey June day. A lot... More

Delighted to read you decided to stop in and visit us. Hope to see you back again - definitely Spring & Summer are hits for meals outside with the views. However, we're doing more work on restoring our buildings and will soon have a new tasting room with cozy fires. Perfect for our wet winters. More

After 2 days in Tanunda area, we were on our way home to Adelaide but saw a newspaper review about Pindarie winning a national tourism award so detoured to pay it a quick visit. What a handome group of historical buildings and what a picturesque setting! Although we visited in winter, we could imagine a spring or summer idyll on... More

We went to this winery after reading that it had won a National Award. It was amazing that such a venue could reach National heights without apparently reaching State heights! Amongst other things, the location was truly superb! Tammy was the only staff member that we met and she was most friendly and efficient. So, we will certainly be back!

Visited here to celebrate a birthday and the experience was good. I did not have any expectations and was too busy enjoying the company and food to notice the average service. The platter was sensational and so was the Riesling. Great views here and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
