After 2 days in Tanunda area, we were on our way home to Adelaide but saw a newspaper review about Pindarie winning a national tourism award so detoured to pay it a quick visit. What a handome group of historical buildings and what a picturesque setting! Although we visited in winter, we could imagine a spring or summer idyll on... More

We went to this winery after reading that it had won a National Award. It was amazing that such a venue could reach National heights without apparently reaching State heights! Amongst other things, the location was truly superb! Tammy was the only staff member that we met and she was most friendly and efficient. So, we will certainly be back!

Visited here to celebrate a birthday and the experience was good. I did not have any expectations and was too busy enjoying the company and food to notice the average service. The platter was sensational and so was the Riesling. Great views here and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

It was a cold winters day we enjoyed a delicious cheese platter by the embers of a most beautiful open fire , washed down with a beautiful red . There were sheep in the paddock , such a serene country setting . Rustic relaxed experience .

We had the perfect lunch here. The weather was excellent for autumn. Even though we hadn't made a reservation we were lucky enough to get a wonderful table on the verandah looking straight onto the hay stack where numerous kids spends ages enjoying themselves climbing all over it. We share a plough mans platter for 2 with 2 glasses of... More

I adore the ambience at Pindarie with the huge pepper tree, the big haystack (in which children frolic) loads of green grass and fabulous views right over the undulating property of the family Vineyard whilst sitting under the verandah. Inside there is also plenty of tables and a gorgeous fireplace for the cooler months. We ordered our choice for lunch... More

We landed without a booking on a busy Easter Saturday, but they managed to work us in. What a fantastic setting! We sat and soaked in the amazing views while our girls play soccer, climbed the hay bales or just explored. Everyone was happy. The food is simple but great. Complimented by a nice bottle of their wine you just... More

Pindarie is a favourite winery of ours set on the western hills of the Barossa Valley. They now make their own pies which are full of flavour and accompanied by beautiful salads. They are still essentially a cellar door so don't expect a comprehensive menu, nevertheless the few items they offer are very enjoyable. The wines are good and as... More

This was very first trip to the Barossa and we celebrated my birthday at this fantastic little winery. It was a perfect day. I could not fault the wine, food, service or the ambiance. I highly recommend this winery.
