Stopped here when visiting the barossa and had lunch under the pepper tree. It really was a lunch to remember as the excellent local produce in the platter accompanied by the amazing views were tryout unforgettable. The play area and hay bale tractor were superb for our children, enabling us to relax and enjoy the setting. The staff and wine... More

Down to earth service, friendly place... Food was amazing if you are after a casual lunch between fancy Barossa degustation, come here for home cooked pies and platters.

I love the relaxed yet upmarket atmosphere Pindarie effortlessly shows. Unpretentious, non commercial & no hard sell... Pindarie sells itself which is why it's a local favourite... Just don't plan it as your last stop for the day... as you will wish you hadn't...

This is a lovely place to sit and spend some time. It has some great wines which you can buy by the bottle or glass and some great tasting platters to share. You can either sit on the balcony or inside the spacious winery. In the winter even a log fire to warm you up! Highly recommended.

A must on your barossa trip - a little off the beaten track but not hard to find. A beautiful open tasting room / restaurant with a bright outdoor area to boot. Great to bring large groups as plenty of room. Lovely staff, there is a great selection of food - the pie, oooohhh the pie!! - and of course... More

We have visited Pindarie twice in the past year. It is located on the edge of the Barossa. The cellar door is a beautiful spot and overlooks the extensive vineyards. Each time we have ordered a bottle of wine and some of their gourmet pies and sat out on the veranda take in the views.

We are delighted you keep coming back and great to know you enjoy what we have here. We are releasing some new wines early in 2013 (2010 Shiraz, 2011 Bar Rossa mediterranean blend and 2012 La femme) so we hopefully you will be back to give them a try. Hope you have a happy festive season and thankyou for taking... More

What a gorgeous winery - after trying the lovely wines and olive oil, and chatting to the wonderful owners, we enjoyed lunch overlooking some of the most beautiful scenes in the Barossa.

Our family have been to Pindarie a number of times...beautiful views. We were a bit concerned about how they handled Gourment 2011...drunk young adults taking over the very child orientated haystack...but thought we would give it another go (at an earlier time) this year. No better really...they can't seem to decide who they are catering to - families, or bus... More

Gourmet Weekend 2012 was a huge learning curve. We are constantly striving to maintain and improve upon the high standards that we pride ourselves in. Pindarie is a Cellar Door that has never been a BYO food or alcohol venue at any time. Thankyou for your feedback regarding the Gourmet Weekend event that we hosted and we shall keep your... More

Lovely cellar door, also a working sheep farm, rural outlook very relaxing indeed. The pies are really good, i had beef my wife had the lamb and they were both excellent. Cellar doors can get repetitive but this is worth a visit.

It is wonderful to hear you enjoyed Pindarie, and we really appreciate you taking the time to give us a review. Our gourmet pies are made by Tracy Page.. and she does an amazing job, jamming them full of delicious local produce! I will definately forward your praise onto her and hopefully we will see you again one day! More
