This was a nice place to do some wine tasting and the staff were very helpfull also for information for the surronding areas. From here we went to a few winerys for tastings. You certainly should visit this place to get an idea of what is around.

Located just off the main road through town and clearly marked, this TIC was very helpful. They have a large selection of brochures about the wineries and menus from most of the local restaurants. We experienced a lot of help from the staff in finding accommodation for us. The info centre was very very interesting & the displays & old photos had us wanting to go back to have another look. Best info centre we have ever been in.

Penola is a tiny town, but the visitors centre is full of info. I really enjoyed the history and informaton presented. The staff was kind and welcoming. If visiting Penola, you should stop in. We're glad we did.

Not a lot of touristy things but staff very friendly

Worth a visit if you are looking for brochures and accommodation. I asked for an accommodation leaflet and I was promptly handed one but there was no further help to assist me in finding accommodation. There is a lot of printed information so worth a visit.
