For a light lunch on a nice day you couldn't get better. We had a lovely wine tasting and whilst doing that made a choice of produce to have on our tasting platter of which they plated up and served to us in their great grassed outdoor area. Sitting back in the sun with a wine what more could you... More

Rymil has been a long time fave, and while I get a few calls a year from them on special deals, it's always nice to visit this gorgeous winery and try a few wines. Where else do they have 20 year old wines that are on museum release? Thanks for the tase, a case we did buy, your steely blue... More

Rymill is a huge and beautiful cellar door, Staff are welcoming and informative about both the wines and the region. There is plently to wander around and look at, the self guided tour is a great option as you can see the process as it happens. The view from the second level is great as well... and even the wines... More

I very pleasant surprise. This winery has a very modern area for both wine tasting and the ability to watch wine making in progress if it is not the weekend. Looking though large floor to ceiling windows on three level you can see across the production area. The staff at the wine tasting area were friendly and informative and you... More

The most informative winery. You can do a self style tour, following plaques, that explain the working of a winery. You leave feeling a lot more knowledgable about how a modern day winery works. Now the wines, there are exceptional wines here. Many many styles and blends. It can be a very comprehensive tasting. The staff are great, all with... More

Lovely wines and warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Who could ask for more. There were four of us, all of whom, had a very enjoyable time sampling some excellent reds. Will definitely be back next time we are in Coonawarra.

On a rainy, dreary day – a day that was made to taste wine – I climb the vineyards from Penola and visit the Zema, Wynns Coonaware Estate, Brand’s Laira Coonawarra, Rymill Coonawarra, Penley, Coonawarra Jack and Hollick Wineries. Shiraz after Shiraz – Cabernet after Cabernet. I picked up one special bottle from the Rymill Winery – one that will... More

A beautiful place to visit. Wines were nice. Customer service could be improved I think. We didn't feel overly welcome. Not much info was shared with us regarding the Wines and Rymill's story.

Hi Teresa, We are so pleased you took the time to visit us and loved the wines. However, we are concerned to read your disappointment in the customer service on that day. Great customer service and knowledgeable staff are extremely important to us. Please be assured that we are taking your feedback on board. I would like the opportunity to... More

Beautiful cellar door teamed with great wines. Visited Easter long weekend, as such all premiums & back vintage wines open. Walked away with a box full of 10-15 year aged Shiraz & Cabernet magnums at reasonable prices. Some of the staff perhaps new & inexperienced, but that's just nitpicking. Great fun

No visit to the Coonawarra is complete unless you visit the dancing stallions at Rymill. The wines are good, but Emma is the star attraction. Vibrant, friendly and enthusiastic - just a really comfortable experience that you do not want to miss.
