A gorgeous winery and beautiful surroundings! Customer Service from the lady conducting the tastings was very poor, as well as the air conditioning on a very hot day! We were all very prepared to be tasting and making several purchases in the area, however bad experience with the host left a 'bad taste' with us! Hopefully next visit will be... More

We ventured to Rymill with two friends from the UK on our way from Adelaide to Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road and it did not disappoint. Our cellar door expert (I think her name was Naomi) was lovely. Knowledgeable without being pretentious. She made us feel very welcome and invited us to take in the gorgeous view from the... More

Hey Holly, Thanks so much for dropping by! Thanks for the kind words and top feedback. I'm glad the Yearlings did the job. Let me know how you go with the Classic and Sandstone, if you've got the patience to let them sit for a bit. Otherwise enjoy them soon with a tasty feed! Cheers, John More

We stopped by for an afternoon tasting while driving through Coonawarra. The grounds are beautiful and the wines were lovely, the host was very knowledgable and helpful. We purchased a few bottles then chose to put together a produce platter of lovely cheeses and meats. We then had a picnic outside on the manicured lawn and enjoyed a glass of... More

Rymill is one of the best looking wineries in the Coonawarra - make sure you head upstairs during your tasting to enjoy the leafy views. Helpful and chatty staff, delicious red wine

We were being introduced to the Coonawarra winery's and this was one of 3 we visited. I'm afraid that I discovered that I'm not good at tasting new wine because there's almost inevitably some time to go before the wine you're trying 'matures'. I'm sure someone, somewhere will rate me as a wine 'duff' but, so be it. Somewhere on... More

Hi Peter, Thanks for dropping by, welcome to Coonawarra! Did you try our Maturation Release Cabernet? It's aged prior to release and is several years older than the current vintage wines. This might have been a bit more to your taste. Most Coonawarra wineries have cellars full of older wine which we pull out at special occasions and through July... More

They've thought of everything at this winery. We came to taste the wine and relax for lunch as we'd heard the make-your-own platters were good. The service was friendly and helpful and the wines did not disappoint. We started selecting our lunch first so the SA cheese could come to room temperature while we tasted wines. The Cab Sav's were... More

Our touring party loved this place. We had selected it as one of the few we wanted to visit and were not disappointed. The wines were just tremendous and the buildings and gardens equally so. Give yourself more time here as there is much to see. We were on a self organised tour and had our picnic platter here, enjoying... More

I love wine however, this was my first time visiting a cellar door. Staff were friendly and not at all pretentious and made our time a pleasant one even for my none wine drinking partner. Great viewing platforms, wine and scenery. Would definitely recommend for families or couples.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful cellar door. It was perfect, from the dog keeping guard over the vineyards, to the banter with staff, the wines on offer, and the chance to learn more about the whole process of making these wonderful wines. The cellar door itself is designed to welcome, inform and entertain. Perfection!
