We stopped here on our private winery tour for a platter lunch and it was just brilliant. Delicious local foods, with a very comprehensive tasting while we ate our lunch. Highly recommended as a lunch stop for those who are looking for something different from take away or pub meals.

Eden Valley is an almost hidden add-on to the Barossa with different soil and different altitude(s). It is home to pretty much all the area's Riesling. Taste Eden Valley is a converted house (with a garden) in Angaston that specialises in a range wines (red and white) from the special place. The wines available for tasting change weekly. The wines... More

What a great review for us - thank you! We love Angaston always a bit cooler in summer with delightful evening breezes. Winters sitting around the log fire and we know the grape vines love it too, slow ripening to develop those amazing colours in reds and high acidity in Riesling. Hope to see you at our Riesling festival in... More

Taste Eden Valley is a place located in the town of Angaston, located in Barossa Valley, where you can taste a lot of wines of Eden Valley (a valley near Barossa Valley). Here I tasted some excellent white wines, red wines and sparkling wines. This place is an excellent to introduce in the Eden Valley wines. Moreover, I recommend you... More

That's great to hear and thank you for taking the time to write a review, it helps many visitors discover a new destination when visiting the region. Eden Valley is know as the high country in the Barossa Valley region or sometimes labelled as Barossa, so unique in producing high quality Rieslings but a nice surprise is the reds that... More

'Taste Eden Valley' is a regional tasting room housed in a charming historic building in the centre of Angaston (6-8 Washington Street). It offers single vineyard wines from producers who do not have a cellar door. A friendly, knowledgeable hostess, and you can taste unique wines from several makers from your stool at the bar.

Thanks for your valued feedback. The buildings and gardens just add to the experience for wine tasting. The beautifully stone crafted buildings in South Australia is what many people love so much when visiting and the best thing of all they will still be here for so many more generations to enjoy, See you next time :) More

This wine room, in our opinion is one of the best in South Australia. That is no small claim to fame as we have been to numerous wine tas6ting centres in South Australia, including the Barossa valley, Clare valley and McLaren Vale areas. This wine room has wines that you will not find in any other outlet in Australia. The... More

Taste Eden Valley is a fantastic opportunity to taste several small winemakers under the one roof. Also gives an insight into the variance between different wine-making and micro-climates on a particular varietal. The Cellar Door is cosy, and the staff knowledgeable.
