It's a Farmers' Market. It doesn't sell gee gaws and knick knacks. It is all under cover under one roof. It sells a little fresh produce, breads, biscuits, cheeses, smallgoods, smoked fish, jams and relishes, olive oil, olives, pies, quiches and probably several similar things I've forgotten. It isn't large so there is only one or occasionally two stalls that... More

Local produce and in the Barossa that means top quality, sophisticated, well rounded background knowledge, the staples and the unusual. If you're staying with friends or have a house go to the Saturday markets 7.30-11.30am stock up and cook for the week. Don't forget, treat yourself to a few meals out - the restaurants are also fabulous. More

It was extremely busy here over the Easter weekend. Lots of interesting things to see but no space for all the people to move freely around. More

The locals are a busy lot around the Barossa Valley! The Farmers Market displayed numerous cheeses, vegetables, meats and sweet treats. There were plenty of tastings which is always a good sign. Where do they find the time? More

Small market that was buzzing with early morning shoppers. We loved the lady who sold home made cookies which she baked herself. All her cookies were delicious!!! My husband and I bought a few for our trip. The wait for the bacon and egg roll was long and not very satisfying, but with the only option for breakfast, people don't... More

The Barossa Farmers market has a wide variety of stalls offering home made delicacies. You can buy and sample cookies, cakes, jams, cold meats, baked goods, curries, etc. It's worthwile visiting while in the Barossa. It is only open on Saturdays. Take cash as there are no eftpos facilities. More
