Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable about the Barossa and Clare Valleys. We booked him for consecutive days and were delighted with his selections. He knew many of the Cellar Door staff and was very helpful in pointing out wines that we might be interested in drinking. His vehicles are comfortable and he is very prompt and accommodating taking us by a... More

We had a great one day tour of the Barossa with the genial Jonathan recently. We are not massive Aussie red wine fans. Faced with this minor challenge to the orthodox, Jonathan readily changed gear. He focused on whites, and on interesting food options and small towns to look round in addition to visiting vineyards. Lunch at Pindarine was lovely.... More

I arranged a tour with Jonathan and Kate in June for my husbands birthday and liaised with Jonathan to organise a tour appropriate for our tastes and our sense of adventure and they excelled. If Jonathan and Kate make a suggestion then my advice is to bite their hand off and take them up on the opportunity, we planned 50%... More

We toured with Jonathan. He listened to our wine preferences and made good suggestions based on those preferences. Very informative about the area and different wine growing regions. It was interesting to be able to do a compare and contrast of California and Australian wine styles (we live near Napa and Sonoma in California and visit regularly). We enjoyed the... More

What an enjoyable day! We had several constraints on the day--planes to catch and high end wineries to visit. Jonathan planned the whole day from hotel pick up to airport delivery and hit every mark! The wineries were first class along with a great lunch planned in the middle. I'd highly recommend Barossa Epicurean Tours if you want to maximize... More

Can't recommend this enough. Our daughter and s-i-l did the Penfolds make your own wine and included lunch tour with Jonathan and we did the straight Barossa tour a couple of months later. Visited 7, I think, wineries including the more obvious Penfolds but several smaller ones and the two collective tasting places for Eden Valley and the one in... More

We had 3 nights in Angaston and wanted to make the most of our time, so rather than figuring out which wineries would be best to visit, we left it to the professionals! Jonathan hosted us in his air conditioned, spacious and comfortable van, taking us to 6 wineries across the day. Rather than just 'sticking to the script' he... More

My sister and I organized epicurean tours and Tom to be our diver for a day in the Barossa. He was prompt professional and went out of his way in terms of service. The car was spotless. Epicurean helped tailor the wineries that we visited so that we could visit ones that didn't use egg/fish(vegan wine yum!) as a filtering... More

I was fortunate to host Sarah and Georgie around the Barossa. With help from members of Barossa Wine and Grapegrowers we were able to cater for Sarah's request for Vegan wine proving the benefits of hospitality providers and producers working as a team. We hope you get the chance to visit the Barossa again one day. Tom More

Tom was our guide and we found him to be humble and in no way unpleasant! We had a few places in mind and were taken to a couple of extras, Tom's suggestions - we had a ball! He seemed to have a great relationship with quite a few of the staff at the places we visited. We wouldn't hesitate... More
