Whilst the bright pink hulls of the LARC (Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo) vessels (yes, they're registered as survey vessels) might seem a little gimmicky as they sit there next to the booking office at 1770 awaiting their next assignment, don't be fooled. The full-day tour to Bustard Head lighthouse along the beach of Bustard Bay is a history lesson as... More

We booked the Goolimbil walkabout tour as a last minute trip before leaving Town of 1770 and we are glad we did. First of all Travis decorates your face with face paint and then you board the hot pink LARC. As we made the crossing over the creek we got information about the land and the wildlife. On the walkabout... More

With our bookme.com discountinued tickets booked for the Paradise Day Tour, we headed to Agnes Water. The staff was absolutely awesome!! We set sail on our adventure over land and sea. Our Captain pointed out several different species of bird and sea creatures, pausing so everyone could take pictures. We actually saw a shark, stingray, crabs and dolphins. The ride... More

Just returned from the new tour offered by 1770 LARC! Tours, the Goolimbil (Black Cockatoo) Walkabout. A fascinating insight of indigenous history and culture in 1770. Board the amphibious LARC at 1770 Marina, after first donning some face paint, and then it's off to explore the rich and diversified culture of the Gooreng Gooreng peoples. With some very interesting commentary... More

What a beautiful part of the world and what a great tour....just wanted it not to stop!! Blake was our tour guide with an awesome sense of humour and anecdotal knowledge. There’s sharks, dolphins, stingrays, kangaroos, emus and lots of birds to see close up. It’s worth going to 1770 just to do one of these tours. So much nature... More

It was a windy day when we went on the full day Larc tour to the lighthouse. Nevertheless, the tour was first class. The guide was a constant source of information on the way there and back. This was so much better than I could have imagined - this was the sunset tour and it's only when you're out on the larc that you really start to see the incredible things on the beaches and sandbanks. Commentary is funny and educational so appeals to both young and old. The sunset tour does not take too long but... More
