This tour was amazing. Blake our driver was fantastic & we felt safe at all times. Dave the guide was so knowledgable and passionate about both his job and the beautiful beaches and wildlife along the way. Could not have asked for a better day--- sun, sand, learning the amazing history of the area... many happy memories made. Thanks Blake,... More

What better way to see, listen and learn about the history of 1770. The adults will love the facts along with the historical aspects of this important part of QLD and the kids will just love LARC and going through the water looking for crabs. We had 3 boys aged 14, 11 and 4 and they all loved it. A... More

Three generations of our family enjoyed a great trip with Blake on the afternoon LARC trip. This trip on 1960's USA amphibious vehicle is a great way to see the wildlife including rare birds. Blake was a great driver and guide telling us in an informative but fun way about Captain Cook's landing his great bustard feast and the history... More

Yep. 5 stars and we didn't even get to go out on the lark....... why? Simple, we booked, paid in advance and then it poured with rain. Amber was very professional and kept us updated with what was happening (or not) and then gave a full refund. Well handled, and Im sure we will be back to try again one... More

Excellent family experience, knowledgeable leader (Blake, yes I gave you a namecheck) who made the whole thing fun, and the LARC enables you to see parts of the coast which are otherwise completely inaccessible. Highly recommended

I did the afternoon one hour trip and was a bit dissapointed after reading all the great reviews. For one hour we crossed the to the beach and stopped at least four of five times for the driver to talk. The Larc was full of kids on a hot afternoon and they were getting fidgety. I will leave it there.... More

Thank for you for taking the time to write your review. During the school holidays there is an increased number of children on our tours which is to be expected over the holiday period. We regret the afternoon cruise did not meet with your expectations. More

Our captain Blake was awesome, added humour and was knowledgable about the wildlife. We only did the afternoon cruise which was a bit of fun and went for longer than the scheduled time. Probably better suited for younger kids but not bad overall. (No toilet so don't drink on the cruise and use toilet before you leave)

The LARC paradise tour was the highlight of our time in the lovely costal town of 1770. It is a full day tour, full of beautiful views, fun activities, good food and a great atmosphere. It is a locally owned and family operated business with amazing history. Everyone on board throughly enjoyed themselves and the staff have a vast knowledge... More
