In September 2014 we were visiting from England and went on a whale watching trip out of Redcliffe. with Captain Kerry. We were picked up in the CBD in time for boarding at 10 am. The trip started with coffee and, after less than an hour's sailing we saw our first whales. The crew were extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly... More

During the off season the Eye Spy whale watching vessel can be chartered for private functions. We are chartering Eye Spy for a visiting chinese group and the staff are very helpful in assisting and planning the cruise. For something just a bit different to a restaurant or function centre this cruise will hopefully impress our visitors.

Great day out, food is average but you don't go for the food, the staff are excellent, the dark haired lady in particular, Caroline? maybe, she's been working there forever

You'll have a lovely day, the boat is big and comfortable, the staff are happy and friendly, the whales are amazing! Wear a long sleeved shirt and plenty of sunscreen- the sun is intense. It also gets quite chilly when the boat is going fast. Buffet lunch and snacks are very nice. You'll have a great day.

I was lucky enough to win a family pass on a local radio station for this wonderful day out. We went on a Monday, so the boat wasn't packed and there were plenty of seats and areas to view the whales. Once out into Moreton bay, we saw whales for the whole 2 hours. It was just amazing - nature... More

Captain Kerry has so much knowledge of the bay and whales; which she readily shares during the voyage - AND knows where to find whales. Staff are so obliging, friendly and helpful. The food is brilliant. Heaps of space to move around on the Eye Spy which is maintained in excellent and clean condition. Would thoroughly recommend a trip with... More

Captain Kerry and her crew did an excellent job in getting us close to the humpback whales, and the dolphins, without disrupting them. They made sure that we saw plenty of them, no opportunity was missed. The crew kept things orderly, and served a good buffet (we had the special vegetarian lunch that came boxed for us) on the way... Saw humpback for the first time! As if on cue, multiple pods appeared. Mom and calf, mom teaching calf how to splash tail. Rolling on their backs. A great day! The crew was most helpful during the cruise. Lunch of ham, beef, salads, and fruits were quite satisfying. Prawn was also served, but being a sissy, I couldn't eat them... More

The day started well once we had found somewhere to park. There is no unrestricted parking near to the pier. Morning tea was served as soon as we boarded and should have been tea, coffee, orange juice and fruit. However we found no fruit as those who boarded before us had been rather greedy. Their serviettes were piled high! We... More
