We were aboard the Eye Spy with Captain Kerry on Monday September 15th. The weather was perfect, not to much wind and calm seas. We crossed moreton bay quickly and began seeing whales within minutes of going around the tip of moreton island. Many many pods were seen and the whales were up close as many as 12 at a... More

Once on-board, friendly staff on board are always smiling and helpful. The cruise is a 3 level deck so once we reached the whale watching spots, we could climb up to the upper deck and the captain would guide us where to spot for whales. Great experience!

Whaling season had just started when we joined the friendly crew on the Eye Spy. It's a big boat and would handle any conditions but the day we went it was calm and after we passed the northern tip of Moreton Island it took, oh about, two minutes, before we saw our first blow. And they kept coming all around... More

Whale Watching was a birthday present which was worth every cent. The Eye Spy leaves from Redcliffe Jetty for the trip out to Moreton Island and its northern point. It is a comfortable and very clean boat with two levels of inside seating and three levels of viewing on deck. The trip starts with fresh fruit, tea and coffee served... More

We enjoyed an amazing day out on the water and saw many pods of whales up close. The staff had an extensive knowledge and respect for the whales and the boat was perfect for whale watching. The lunch was plentiful and delicious. There was a slight swell which the boat handheld very well. The trip was excellent value for money... More

Highly recommend a trip on Eye Spy - guaranteed whale viewing (in season of course!), eco friendly, professional friendly staff, intelligent commentary, great on-board facilities, tasty lunch and an amazing up close and personal experience with humpback whales. This was my 3rd trip with the company, and they only seem to improve.

The trip was pretty smooth to the whale watching spots. The captain did a great job keeping the boat as stable as possible in order to provide the best views of the sea life. We saw whales, hammerhead sharks, turtles and a few dolphin. Due to bad weather, our original day had been canceled, but the staff was very good... More

Such an amazing day. The weather was great, the boat was awesome and the staff were really friendly. Our day was calm but you got a feel of what it would be like going out in rougher weather! Managed to see 3 juvenile whales who were happy for us to track them for a while. Got some amazing photos and... More
