I just want to let you know that the name of the rock is "Perce Rock" and not Pierced rock. It is named for the town in which it is found. It is a beautiful little town and and amazing natural rock formation. I see it all the tine as it is less than an hour from where I live....

We enjoyed the Gaspe' of Quebec. It was filled with small fishing Villages and large Churches. A very beautiful area in Quebec; Perce' Rock was interesting to see. Our lobster dinner at a small local inn was very nice.

Sometime we are looking for man making stuff, but nature is the most of art, the most of beauty and this magnificent rock formation (in the town of Perce) in a sun set feed your soul, just after driving through some beautiful little villages and admire the water front

There is something about Gaspe Rock and indeed the entire Gaspe Peninsula. My first trip there was as a boy of 14with my grandparents. I donj't know what it was, but I was drawn to return to this place. Each time I have traveled (by car) around the entire Gaspe Peninisula. Grant it, there is not a lot to do,...
