We visited loret de mar in may 2014 we stayed at the h.top royal star . we where told of this old cemetary just behind the hotel my wife and I with my daughter & granddaughter visited ,Wefound it to be totally amazing .

The cemetary has a wide range of statues and headstones. There are lots of information plaques to tell you about the designers and artists resposible for some of the decorative carving on display.

Very peaceful cemetary with some beautiful carvings and monuments, definitely worth a visit! Really ornate tombstones and crypts. Something a bit different.

We visited cemetary on the way to the beach. It looks nice, but it is not something very marvelous. If you stay in Lloret de mar, afcorse you can come here:)

I loived the beautiful modernist architecture of the old patheons... nice place to read a book during the afternoon

visited this place on a day out was surprise at how well kept the place is the gate are always open and you feel quite safe walking around theres always people there attending there loved ones graves what a peaceful resting place x

ive visited lots of cemetries in the uk and what impressed me the most was how well looked after the cemetery is .you can see just how much family means to the spanish people as most of the graves have flowers and look so clean and tidy. its so peaceful to walk round and read the inscriptions that are on... This cemetery is located behind the H Top Royal Star hotel. A must place to visit if you are interested in modernist art and sculpture. Some of the tombs are Gaudiesque in style . An amazingly beautiful and serene place to visit. Many of the inscriptions are evocative and emotional.....a testament to the family commitment of the Spanish. as a photographer it provided me with a good three hours photography. the place was surreal and was just behind the royal star hotel. should be promoted by the hotel as a place to visit
