Rajwada is known for local street food, serving kachori, jalebi, poha etc, and locals also throng the place. Must visit for foodies to have a taste of some mouth watering food.

A historic attraction of central India's most happening city but in a terrible condition due to no proper upkeep by the govt. and the tourism ministry. The place used to be the residence of the Holkar family who were the rulers of the malwa region. Also, due to its location, the site is difficult to maintain. A major city road... More

Rajwada is not quite in disrepair but it is poorly maintained. The renovations of... More

Rajwada is one of the main historic locations of Indore. But for the history part. it has now become mainly a market area. Asa a market area, it is a good place. The namkeens and sweets are great and come in lots of varieties. Great place for foodies and those who like shopping bargains.

It's one of those historic places where needs more and more attention. It was a palace and now a historic place, always crowded on the outside. You really need to be lucky to find parking around this place but worth the visit.

It was Monday hence weekly off. As per historical facts, the Rajwada caught major fire on 3 occasions and now only facade remains which is a majestic 7 story building.

The most difficult place to drive down to. No parking space anywhere near. Best is to park a few hundred metres near the Chatris and walk down through the thronging crowd. Extremely crowded area, will be pushed, pulled & flocked. Be ready...get..set... go
