This place is under renovation and hence certain portion was closed for visitors. There is an exhibition gallery which exhibits old photos of kings, queens, prince and princesses, weapons, antique pieces of Holkars (although not too amazing). There is a darbar hall which is again a disappointment. There is nothing to see here. Don't waste your money for photography as... More

I had been visiting Indore for last 15 years. Every time I go I take another example of food lovers. The city is dirty and chaotic but still the people are nice. Traffic sense is bad all over the city. I always say General people eat for living but in Indore people live for eating. 👍👍😀

Indore is a very chaos full city, the people here do not follow any traffic rules they drive as if they are sole person travelling on road. No doubt it is the biggest city of Madhya Pradesh but what's so good about it when people here do not have any civic-sense. The dirtiest city in India. Not a single place... More

Indore Rajwada today stands graciously tall to tell stories of the bygone era, the golden period of the Holkar Rule under which Indore flourished. We entered through the side and not the main gate, there is a Lord Khandoba (Malhar) Temple inside and various Shiv Lingas and metal Statues. Also there are scriptures and paintings which provide information on Holkar... More

Very nice and impressive building. History well elaborated in paintings etc. Premises could have been maintained better. No provision of drinking water or snacks stall.

This historic building of Peshwa is in poor shape. you have to buy a ticket for poorly managed monument. you will feel great to see the old things and history of great Peshwa but same time you will feel that things are not being taken care properly.

We visited Holkars’ six storied Rajwada built in 1766 , constructed by Muslim masons from Mandu in the heart of the city in front of a municipal garden separated by just a narrow road unabling the poor viewer to fully appreciate the entrance of the Rajwada . The architecture of the Rajwada was a blend of French , Maratha and... More

I kept biting my nails thinking that how can a locality or rather a big city like Indore can dedicate itself to foodies. Well, if you have ever planned to visit Indore but did not... More
