I was enchanted by a photograph bordering a map of the ZJJ national forest park of this place. If I had first seen photo of tienmenshan or if the people nearby when I did see it knew what and where it was, I would have missed this gem! But after visiting Huanglong dong, it was an easy side trip to... More

We arrived and was not prepared for the thousand plus steps downwards that we were to take. We would probably have gone down 800 floors if you assume 20 steps per floor? It was pure sweat after mid way and some sections were really steep. Fearful for me as I am afraid of heights. Clinging on for dear life as... More

This is a must come for a traveler to Zhangjiajie. It is a natural park with the blue sky and mountains ridges. If you are lucky, you may get clouds or misty dews passing pass, very photographic. The walk on the glass corridor is a very good experience, a must for all traveller.

The most impressive thing was the walk down into the canyon -- 1600 stairs down, a slide and a zip line at the bottom. Nice nature walk though. Barely worth your time.

Loved this park. Take the huge staircase on the way to the bottom of the canyon. You also have an opportunity to the take a stone "slide" and a short zip line along the way. The slide may not be an option, and is "meh." Just ok. We passed on the zip line, although short it did look like people... More

We went to the Big Grand Canyon of Zhang Jia Jie on 12 September 2014 by tour group. Our coach drove us to the top of the mountains. We had to walk down sets of stairs in the crevice between two big mountains. There was no way that we could escape but kept walking down the steps. Some were fine... More

Initially, we descend on a few sets of stairs. Then we descend some more, and some more.. The land below is nowhere in sight. We were in this crevice between two mountain rocks and the only way to go is down. By the time we figure out we are still a long way to the bottom, we were too far... More

We went- me and Yvonne to this area to a range of high ridge mountains. It was one of the most beautiful places we had been to so far. It spread out of a large area, there were cable cars, valleys, valley walks, rivers, a gorge, monkeys. there is also the highest lift in the world

Maybe we got lucky that we were in the middle of the week and the weather and not very good, but we were king of on our own there! It's a really fun tour to do, with great views and fun parts! toboggans, boat tour and and zipline! (optional) We really enjoy this place
