Me and my family stayed at a hotel 20 km away from the canyon and the car ride took 30 minutes. When we arrived the tickets cost 72 yuan per person. When you enter the park you will be stunned by the beautiful scenery. I also enjoyed that inside the canyon you can take a zip line that goes over... More

Definitely worthwhile, stunning views, nice attactions (at a small extra fee). Pay the extra fee for the bus to bring you up to the entrance. Walking up is not a good idea. After arrival there are many steps to go down on (with handrails, safe enough) and then slide down to the valley, good fun.

It was rainy a little while we were there but this was one of our favorite places. There were some beautiful and tall waterfalls almost everywhere we looked. My kids 6 & 7 really enjoyed this area as well.

RMB118 entrance fee then a 6km walk which took us 2 hours including several activities such as slide, flying fox and boat trip. Each additional activity excluding the boat trip costed a small fee but was definitively worth the price. We took a taxi from Harmona Resort and Spa which took 20 minutes. Bus back to the hotel for RMB... More

I was enchanted by a photograph bordering a map of the ZJJ national forest park of this place. If I had first seen photo of tienmenshan or if the people nearby when I did see it knew what and where it was, I would have missed this gem! But after visiting Huanglong dong, it was an easy side trip to... More

We arrived and was not prepared for the thousand plus steps downwards that we were to take. We would probably have gone down 800 floors if you assume 20 steps per floor? It was pure sweat after mid way and some sections were really steep. Fearful for me as I am afraid of heights. Clinging on for dear life as... More

This is a must come for a traveler to Zhangjiajie. It is a natural park with the blue sky and mountains ridges. If you are lucky, you may get clouds or misty dews passing pass, very photographic. The walk on the glass corridor is a very good experience, a must for all traveller.

The most impressive thing was the walk down into the canyon -- 1600 stairs down, a slide and a zip line at the bottom. Nice nature walk though. Barely worth your time.

Loved this park. Take the huge staircase on the way to the bottom of the canyon. You also have an opportunity to the take a stone "slide" and a short zip line along the way. The slide may not be an option, and is "meh." Just ok. We passed on the zip line, although short it did look like people... More
