An impressive canyon with steep steps to the canyon floor. Or you can take a strange marble slide the last half of the way down (a unique, fun experience). A really nice peaceful walk (we went at low season, I imagine it not to be very peaceful during peak season) and a free boat on a beautiful lake to the... More

The boat was in good condition with a slow ride for a great scenic view. Great nature and good ride with natural forest, animal, cool air and some of the rock formation look a animal.

The views were awesome but the slide was disappointing as we keeping coming to a halt due to friction. However the slide is the fastest and easiest way to get to the bottom of the canyons. Overall it was an pleasant experience as there were relatively fewer tourists giving us space to enjoy this place. This is a relatively new... More

It's a bit of effort to get to but worth it if u have the time. It cost 19rmb for a return bus trip . 1 hour to the entrance of the park, and half and hour back. It took me 1.5 hours to visit the park itself as a fast walker. (As there's no sign saying how long the... More

Gorgeous scenery together with some peace and quiet away from the noise of the megaphones and the crowds. One of the highlights of my trip in China. Underrated gem.

This was actually a great break away from the noisy tourist at ZJJ and Wulingyuan scenic areas. The scenery is stunning and varied, I preferred it to any other part of the park we visited! You start with a descent down the canyon, approx 1600 steps. Steps are well maintained and there are railings the entire way. It was not... More

The whole walk from going down into the canyon, the slides, walking the gorge-bottom trail, to the final boat ride down the "estuary" takes about three hours at a leisurely pace. It is relatively quiet and really quite serene - unusual a Chinese attraction - as the crowds are at the main scenic spots for Zhangjiajie. An unexpected but interesting... More

the initial part of climbing DOWN the stairs can be tiring, but the view is worth the walk. Nice waterfalls and boatrides. Of course cannot compare to the real grand canyon

we are told that it's gonna be a long day when we visited this place. 900 downstairs?challenge accepted! my family happily take the stairs to see how beautiful this grand canyon is. and in the end of the downstairs, we got an unique experience, a slide to go down (maybe the height is more than 60 meters that's divided into...
