This was a nice way to spend an hour in hot Changsha. Some interesting history on early writing and printing technology. There are also some really cool artistic displays to see. It is a very small museum though.

We went to Changsha Bamboo Slips Museum on 13 September 2014 by tour group. It had many various collections of bamboo scripts and historical artifacts from the Han and Three Kingdoms periods. There were photographs showing how the people of olden days gathered the bamboos and made them into slips for writings.

Not much to see unless you are doing some Chinese reading or writing. The exhibition style was ok. But you might waste your time if you don;t understand chinese
