This place is very close to the metro station so not very difficult to reach. During a holiday evening one can have a pleasant walk around the lake, miring the lights, the chilling atmosphere, hearing chinese songs and have a look at the stalls selling traditional gadgets and food or letting you play some sort of arcade, ability games. Rent a tandem bike for only Rmb7.50 per person and cycle around the lake. Good fun and good local places to eat at.

The landscaping is awesome, well laid out around a lake, which is fed from a canal. In the evening, a small hillock is very interestingly lit up. Keep your cameras handy. You will find people doing their things, flying kites, fishing, pedal boating, cycling, karaoke and so on. The park is free from any admission fee. Go there in the... More

If you want to relax someplace peaceful, nothing beats being on your own little boat in the middle of a big lake. The boats come in various shapes and sizes, and prices vary - but generally only a few dollars per hour. If the idea of floating on the lake doesn't appeal, then best to give this place a miss... Have visited it dozens of times. Its a great place to go for long walks. Can easily spend hours and take it all for granted. There is no entrance fee and unless its some festival time its pretty much peaceful and without much crowd. The workers at the park do a great job maintaining it round the year, so its a... More
