I had two small fillet steaks topped with shrimp in a bernaise sauce that was wonderful at the Old Beau restaurant. The restaurant overlooks the hilly golf course. If you are staying at their rental properties, do NOT stay in the "studio villas". Our room had no view and was located down a flight of stairs. The 2-bedroom villa rented... More

If you like mountain courses, you'll definitely love Olde Beau. Course is in great shape for a mountain course....excellent greens, fairways and traps. Even the rough area is cleared into the woods. Scenery and views are spectacular, especially on the back nine.

The people there were extremely nice and accommodating. The steak at the restaurant was excellent and the service was top notch. The golf course was well conditioned and the greens were excellent. There is extreme elevation change and you need to pay attention to the "cheat sheet" they provide to deal with hidden features and layup distances. The Executive Cottage... More

We met friends in Glade Valley, NC, and had planned to dine at a different restaurant. Our friends had been given a recommendation to go to Old Beau's, not knowing it was a private club. We were greeted by the manager, told him of our connection and recommendation and he was very happy to offer service to us even though... More

I love playing Old Beau. It is about a 90 minute drive for us, but we feel it is worth it. The golf staff is awesome. JD always remembers us and is one of the friendlier golf pros we have met anywhere.

Great place to golf and stay. Weather nice and cool as it was very hot at home. Tee times were very easily made. Some storm damage from all the rain they had this summer, but they we working hard to repair.

Our daughter was recently married in Roaring Gap, and we held the reception at the Olde Beau dining room. Everything was simply beautiful. The service was impeccable, the food delicious and the facilities are ideal. The sunset during the reception gave us a storybook view to cap off the evening. Our guests enjoyed all the lodging choices through the club.... More

The views , the terrain changes and the course conditions are for a Great Golf Country Club., the only thing not to par was the Restaurant or the 19th Holde during the day, limited Staff,Menus and drink options. Returning on 2013 during Springtime to compare with Fall..
