I have been to four or five performances of the Carolina Ballet and enjoy the costumes, the lighting effects, the music, and, of course, the talent of the dancers! Worth checking out if you haven't yet attended any performances.

The Carolina Ballet is a cultural treasure for the Triangle. The ballet productions and the company are a true delight. The size and sophistication of Carolina Ballet are surprising for a smaller metro area like Raleigh, and we are very fortunate to have ballet of this high quality in our community. The quality of the productions is superb and I... More

We go to see The Nutcracker ever year and our Christmas season isn't complete without it. There is ample parking within a short walk and the theater is easy to navigate. The ballet is breathtakingly beautiful and extremely well done. It is a true gift to have such talent in NC. We treat ourselves to giant chocolate chip cookies from... More

The Carolina Ballet is an outstanding company. We always go to their Nutcracker and recently attended their Four Seasons, which was lovely, especially in the intimate setting of the Fletcher Theater. Dance, costumes and choreography were excellent. We went to Sleeping Beauty yesterday, with live chamber orchestra (not usual for them, and welcome with the Tchaikovsky score.) The performance was... I highly recommend any ballet performed by the Carolina Ballet. My fiance and I have seen three of them in the past 1.5 years and are very impressed. We've seen the Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and recently Sleeping Beauty in that order. They do an outstanding choreographed performance, the costumes & stage art art top notch and very artistally done,... More

Wonderful performance of the Nutcracker! It was beautifully performed and staged. I overheard the owner discuss how they even consulted with Vegas illusionists to make the magical moments seem more special!

Took my wife on opening night for our Valentine's Date. What a great performance and venue. Enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning to the next show.

Wanted to see the Four Seasons and it was fabulous. The theater is just lovely and seating is so close you can really feel the work the dancers put into their art. I live almost 4 hours away but felt it was well worth the drive.

We attended the Carolina Ballet's performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons last week and were really impressed. This is a new, original ballet by their Artistic Director, Robert Weiss. It is a ballet in the classical style, with very creative use of lighting and costumes to evoke the feeling of the various seasons. It was great to see a ballet written... More
