The oldest park in Raleigh has been completely redone. Carosel with original 100+ year old horses which have been restored to their original beauty is a sight to behold. Train is a joy for children of all ages (including those of us who are 69!) Snack bar serves food that you'd find in a restaurant in a lovely outdoor setting. More

Love the $1 a ride train and indoor carousel. We enjoyed the age appropriate playgrounds. Thankful there are still many wide open areas of grass and shelters separate from all the playgrounds and attractions. More

I love this park. They really tried to preserve the classical feel of parks in the past. It has an awesome miniature train you can ride around the park, paddle boats, and a carousel. Great fun for kids and adults alike. More

I grew up in Raleigh so I love coming here from time to time. Perfect for familes. You can't visit here without a ride on the train or the carousel! Also great for picnics and strolls around the pond to feed the geese! More

What a nice park. Bored on a weekend? Nothing to do with the kids? Do I have an answer for you. Pullen Park established in 1887 or so boasts tons of stuff for kids and big-kids (adults) to do. Start off with the walking trails that run through the park, then a train ride ($1 per person) for a general... More

Free Park with a manned snack bar grill, and a few inexpensive rides for the kids (paddle boats, train, carousel). The new jungle gyms are great. It is a good place to let little ones run off energy. Parking could be better on the popular days. More

My fondest memories of Pullen Park is the carousel. It is very near North Carolina State University. The beautiful grounds provide a wonderful spot for a picnic lunch. More

The city did a great job restoring the park. The now indoor merry go round is a hit. So is the train but the line is long during holidays. For Christmas it was decorated so well it seemed you were at Disney. Take the little ones. It won't disappoint. More

This place is perfect for your kids! There's a train that takes you around the entire park, you can paddle boat, ride the carousel, and theres plenty of swings and things to climb! Your kids will love it and best of all it doesn't cost much! The train, carousel, and paddle boats cost 1 ticket per person and 1 ticket... More
