We live about two hours south of Raliegh and this was a great day trip. Inexpensive and fun to be outside! $1 ticket for each ride, pedal boats are $6 but that is thirty minutes and four can fit. The small outdoor cafe is fabulous with all local food. I had the BLT. My boys had hotdog and cheese pizza.... More

The whole park has been updated, while keeping the best parts of the park. Big play grounds, each with ages in mine. The train ride around the park is fun for all ages. Great place to bring the family.

This park is fantastic. Admission is free, you only have to pay $1 per ticket for the carousel, train, or boats. Fantastic playground which is fun for all ages. The only negative is that if an adult needs to accompany a small child on the carousel, the adult has to pay too. But other than that, this place is perfect!

We like the layout and the different attractions. The ponds, ducks, carousel, train rides - all great. The park can get crowded because it is popular and centrally located. But we have enjoyed all,of our trios m

We visited the park today with a group of our extended family. It was fun times for all. We took our 11 month old on the carousel 3 times. He loved it. We rode on the train, and played just a little on the playground. The boats looked fun too. There are paddle boats for older kids and even a... More

We were looking for a new park to visit and this was a great little park kind of hidden away. It has paddle boats, a carousel, large playground area, train and a few little shops for food and such. You can also ride their train. The prices were pretty reasonable and it wasn't too crowded. The Carousel was pretty amazing... More

Our kids are getting a bit old for this park but there's still plenty to enjoy. It was closed for reno last time we were in town and the upgrades are very nice.

This park is big. A great view since you get in. From swimming pool center to playgrounds, train ride, pedaling boats, carousel, picnic area and a lot of tree shades. It was packed the Saturday we visit. We took our on picnic baskets but there's a food court available. The only bad thing is not to much disable access. Too... More

This large park includes a small area that is a recreation of an old fashioned amusement park with rides for small children for $1 a ride. There are several age-specific modern playgrounds. The historic carousel ride is fast and runs for a long time. The train ride is scenic and is on real tracks. There are pedal boats on a... More
