We started going to Pullen Park back in 1980 when our first child was born. We enjoyed walking around, sitting on benches, and riding the train. And we continued to return as he got older, and his little brother came along. More train rides, boat rides, and many many rides on the carousel! As time moved along, improvements and changes... We visit this often as my 2 year is fascinated about trains. The train ride is just a dollar and goes around the park. My son enjoys train ride and the playground. He also enjoys watching the ducks and boats. We go here often and best time pass for my 2 year old.

We loved the attractions available for kids...boat rides, train ride, pedal boats. We brought sandwiches and ate at the picnic tables.

We've visited Raleigh many times, but never knew this park existed! Thanks to Trip Advisor we went last Saturday and walked around the lake and more. It's a great place for adults and kids to escape the city for a while. And it's free!

We had a whole weekend planned in Raliegh but spent a whole day there with our 2 year old. We had a blast! It is clean and beautiful. The park is large and has something for all ages of children. The playground is free but they do offer a few attractions with fees such as paddle boats, a train ride,... More

Went to Pullen park during Memorial Day. Parking is sufficient, since people come and go. There is no entry fee but you will have to buy tickets to ride the trains, carousels, kiddie boats and pedal boats. It's very inexpensive. The grounds are clean and there is lots of shade if you want to have a picnic. Kids have a... More

This is a beautiful park. The old carousel is a delight for all ages and a great bit of nostalgia. The train ride is fun too!

A beautiful city park that has a lake, with small boats you can rent, a train ride that the kids will enjoy and a historic carousel for some nostalgia. There is a kids play area and plenty of benches for taking a rest and just enjoying the day. A nice way to spend a few quality hours with the kids... More

I recently visited for the first time and I absolutely enjoyed it. Me and my family had a blast. The pedal boats were fun to be in, we got to swim around with the ducks hahaha.

This is a very nice small park that will be enjoyed most by toddlers and those children a bit older. There is a nice Choo-Choo train ride, a small power boat ride, some climbing nets, etc.. The best attraction is the refurbished (and air conditioned!) carousel with beautifully painted horses, etc.. Well done and worth an afternoon visit.
