Traveling down the East Coast we made a beeline to Pullen Park to see the carousel when we arrived in Raleigh, NC. Meticulously preserved inside a beautiful building, the staff was knowledgeable and very proud of this 1900 era masterpiece refinished in the 1970's. There are just over 50 animals, lots of gilded mirrors and panels and a wonderful Wurlitzer... More

I took my 3yo niece when she came to visit. The park has a train, carousel, kiddie boats, row boats (in the summer), playground and sand area. Tickets for train, carousel & boats are $1 each. I think that price is totally worth it because it makes the park so much more fun for the kiddies. It was a nice... More

This place is awesome! I visit this park frequently. They have an indoor heated pool & many attractions and things to do. They have a mini train that takes you around the park, carousel, paddle boats that you can take out into the pond, an old train you can walk through and tour, concession stands for snacks & refreshment and... There is something for all ages at this park and it is modern, nice and clean. All the rides are extremely reasonable. Most of them are just 1 ticking (tickets cost $1/ticket) peddle boats are 6 tickets....a really pretty, fun place. Also, plenty of places to sit/hang out while kids play

This park has a lot to offer. There are a number of pavilions you can rent for picnics. There is a carousel, small boat ride and train for the kids. The playground is also nice and well maintained. There is plenty of open space for the kids to run and let loose.

This is a great place to take children. Good walking paths, boat rides and a train ride traveling all over the park. Nice eating area with outside seating.
