A place to sit on a bench or enjoy the walking paths in Raleigh. There are a few amusements including paddle boats and a train ride around the park. It is very clean and well cared for. Popular but not too crowded.

This place was great fun! Took a 2.5 year old and she loved the playground, boat ride, carousel and train. Tickets for rides are only $1. This place was a quite crowded on the first Saturday of spring but waits for rides weren't too bad. We did have to circle around several times to find parking.

There is something for everyone of every age here: playgrounds for each age group, train ride, carousel, boat ride for the little ones, paddle boats for older ones. There are places to walk, picnic and even a restaurant which offers local and healthy food for purchase to eat outdoors at tables on the patio. Go early as parking is limited.

It is the perfect place to take kids when you have a lot of time to spend. There are boats, a train, carousel, and many more things. It also has a lot of places to rent out for big picnics. You can take a blanket and have picnic under all the pretty oaks too.

Great family oriented park. They have rides like a miniature railroad, boat ride, and indoor carousel. They have paddle boats. They have a really nice playground broken up into age oriented sections. Many of the playground areas have rubberized padding on the ground to help soften any accidental trips and slips. There are picnic tables, picnic pavilions, grassy areas, gardens,... More

We had not been to this park since they updated it and WOW what a change. The granddaughter loved the place. Lots of kid thing to do. The carousal is in a building and it is very fast. Lots of things for kids to do. We enjoyed out day at the park.

We live very close to this park and we like to take walks here one nice days. There is a little pond where you can paddle boat, as well as a carousel. There is also a little train that runs through the park that seems like fun. During the holidays, they put lights up and you can ride the train... More

First of all - on beautiful, weekend days it can be very crowded. That said, it is such a lovely place with so many different activities, you probably won't care. Tickets for the attractions are just $1 each. Best carousel ride you'll ever take! Train ride goes around the park, short but fun ride, play equipment, and old caboose you... More
