When in bloom and the weather is nice...

This is a wonderful garden to walk through and enjoy. Bring a lunch and spend some time just enjoying its beauty!

It's hard to grow roses in this climate (hot and humid) so what a find when I discovered the amazing collection of roses at the Raleigh Little Theatre Rose Garden.

This is one of my all-time favorite places to go when I am happy or blue. I don't really care if the thousands of flowers are not in bloom. It offers a peaceful serenity a quiet respite that I have only felt in Japanese gardens. Of course, I wager most people only want to see the flowers but I offer... More

I love this small garden. When you go when the roses are blooming it is a beautiful site. Take the time to walk around and smell the scent of the roses. You can picnic in this park. Lots of people come here to take formal photos.

I attended a wedding in the gardens here. Very nice facility and it turned out to be a really nice spot for a wedding. Weather was good that day. There is some cover if it does rain, but not much. Nice outdoor theatre where they do performances in the round as well.

A wonderful peaceful oasis in the middle of a lovely residential area. Beautiful roses, as well as other plants. We have been visiting there for the last 10 years. There is such a special atmosphere that we chose to exchange our wedding vows there in September 2015

Catch it just right and you will find yourself rubbing elbows with Raleigh's petit aristocracy lined up fashionably in the beer line. On quiet days it is a pleasure just to walk around. Have it both ways.

I have loved the Raleigh Little Theater Rose Garden for over forty years. It is so beautiful especially in May when the roses seem to be at their peak. I not only got married there, I have been to other weddings and events there and the setting makes them true celebrations. I understand it is located on what was once... More

This is one of my favorite little secret spots in Raleigh. When the flowers are in bloom, its absolutely beautiful! You can spend an entire morning/afternoon enjoying the scenery and the peacefulness. This is a popular place for photoshoots and picnics. Be sure to check it out - you won't regret it! (Bring your spouse for a romantic trip!)
