A guide will meet you in a small group to walk to several galleries. Owners will tell you about specific artworks and answer your questions. Your guide will show you additional art in the gallery that appeals to you. Lively discussions often ensue. No prior art knowledge is necessary!Looking for something different to do? I most enjoyed Jeanne's (owner and tour guide) friendly personality which sets the tone for the tour. The discussions were lively and informative and it was a treat to meet the gallery owners and hear about the history of the artists. It's a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. More

Taking a tour with Jeanne through the art galleries was so much better than just going to the galleries on my own. She gives so much good information about the art and usually arranges for guests to talk with the gallery owners. I look forward to having out of town guests so I can take them on one of her... More

We found this on the internet and took a chance. It turned out great because the owner of Art Gallery Tours NC, Jeanne, toured us through local galleries and showed us some amazing art. We not only had a lot of fun. we actually learned something about the paintings due to her strong art history background! Jeanne even introduced us... More

Jeanne’s manner was warm and welcoming. The pace of the tour provided ample time for enjoying the art, questions, and discussion. Jeanne provided excellent information and insights about the art and about the artists. Her enthusiasm for art is contagious! More
