I did the 1 hour Segway tour of Raleigh. We arrived at Triangle Glides 15 mins before the scheduled time and spent 30 mins practicing on the Segway in the office before the tour commenced. The guides were very professional and very helpful. Mimi spoke clearly and knowledgeable - both on the operation of the Segway and on the history... More

Very fun. After the first few minutes nervous minutes its all fun and games once you get on the segway to test it out. First test indoor then ride around outdoor in the parking lot. Riding the segway is very fun, and the history of downtown Raleigh is actually very interesting as well. Highly recommended!

I had a such a great time. Josh, our instructor, taught us a variety of paddles to steer the board and even threw in some yoga poses too. Afterwards, he held the board so we could take photos. The location of the lessons at Lake Wheeler is another added bonus. The Lake Wheeler restroom facilities are clean and a snack... More

Very organized and professional. They made sure everyone was confident to use the Segway prior to leaving. Very safety conscious. So much fun! Informative also.

My adult daughter and I took the SUP course. Josh was our instructor and he was excellent. He gave us a 20 min. dry land instructions that covered all the basics from how to stand up on the board and the forward and sweep strokes. And most importantly how to fall off the board. Once on the water, Josh had... More

Our leader was Darrow. Super nice guy. Very knowledgeable about Raleigh and an excellent Segway teacher. What a fun way to learn a bit about Raleigh and see some things I would have missed without this tour.

Just did the standup paddle board "starting" class/tour with my family of four. Guide Josh was excellent on teaching technique, also making the whole experience fun and relax. Will do it again.

Our guide took us to many interesting places in Raleigh and knew a lot about this wonderful city. However, the electric bikes that they have just don't work for those who are 5'2" and under. I came close to falling off of my bike many times throughout the trip, and another woman on the tour fell twice, and I also... More

We're happy you enjoyed the Raleigh sites and learning about the area's history on your 90 minute electric bicycle tour. We're sorry your comfort level on the bike wasn't where you'd like it to be. We follow the manufacturer's suggested height minimum. The Gocycle - at only 35 lbs - is the lightest electric bicycle in its class, with the... More

My teen & I loved it. Guide was very informative, knowledgeable & safety conscious. They have a lead & someone bringing up the rear to ensure everyone is together. A lot of history relating to Confederacy but hey, when in Rome, right? We did the electric bike tour. They give a sorry tutorial & we were on our way. Wonderful... More
