My mom and I went on the Raleigh food tour and it was amazing! We had an awesome guide, Tony who made everyone feel included in the large group that we had. The food was excellent and the owners took the time to talk to us all at each venue. The owners and chefs were all so passionate about their... More

I went on the tour last weekend with a friend. It was our first time in North Carolina. We had gone for just the weekend to celebrate a high school friend's wedding. After reading the positive reviews online, I decided to book the Taste Carolina Gourmet Food Tour because 1) I love food and 2) it would give us a... More

I scheduled a private group tour for 20 out of town guests. Unfortunately, the night of the event, it snowed, which prevented us from doing our walking tour. Lesley was great in being flexible and working with the host restaurants and bus driver to amend our schedule at the last minute. Overall the tour was awesome, and my group cannot... More

My husband and I were given this tour as birthday gifts and just loved the entire experience. We had a wonderful (and super sweet) tour guide, were told interesting things about Raleigh (where we live), and are some yummy food.

My husband and I enjoyed food tours in other cities when traveling. Based on the fantastic reviews, we decided to give Taste of Carolina (in our hometown) a go. We went on the Dinner and Drinks tour in Raleigh. It was wonderful and we'd recommend it to others without hesitation! There was a nice variety of restaurants and foods/drinks. Each... More

My husband and I did a lunch tour on Valentine's Day to get out of the house after the snow storm. Everything about the tour exceeded our expectations, but I had also read many of the great reviews. Our guide, I think her name was Jeanie (sp?), was awesome. You could tell she enjoyed her job and sharing her passion... More

I found this online and thought it would be a fun way to spend an afternoon. I'm so glad I did! We had a great time visiting six different places. Don't eat before you go as you get plenty to eat. It's a great value as well, well worth the time and money! Our guide was very friendly and easy... More

This is a great way to see Raleigh, and a fantastic way to have lunch. The food was great and would highly recommend. Best for adults. Dress warm if you go in the winter.

Our tour was a blast! We met and walked to 4 restaurants a cupcake shop and a wine store. All of the restaurants were unique, it was neat to get to meet the managers, owners and chefs and hear about their restaurant and history. It is also a great way to learn a little bit of Raleigh's history, and try... More

My girlfriend and I decided to take a little getaway and randomly picked Raleigh, so we searched for things to do and came across the taste of carolina food tour. By far the best decision we made! We toured 6 different local restaurants that presented us with some of their signature plates and explained to us how they are influenced... More
