Thoroughly enjoyed the market even as a tourist while visiting family. Set up in several building and divided into produce, plants, and goods- it made it easy to shop. Beautiful flower arrangements, amazing local produce with many samples to try, home made jams, baked good, cheese, and even penny candies. Wish I lived close enough to visit every week!

We have been visiting the Farmer's market since we moved here 11 years ago. It is one of our go-to's when company comes. And one of our favorite places to shop for amazing deals on local produce, plants, and more. Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes as you will be able to do plenty of walking as you browse.... This is absolutely worth the trip if you love food, meats, cheeses, fish, plants, fruits....everything fresh and readily available as well as fresh breads and pastries and flowers. What a total delight to shop at this market - it was very crowded with many shoppers looking for bargains, fresh produce, and enjoying the beautiful bounty of nature's harvest ... it... More

We took my wife's brother and his wife there and they were impressed with our nice farmers market. They saw the local produce, melons, fruits, jams, honey, and many other items. They were surprised at the range of items offered there. Left market area and went over to pottery area which has a lot of different items . Every person should... More

When I was looking up information on the state farmer's market, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are open 7 days a week. I stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon to see what was going on. There were far more vendors than I expected for early in the week. There was a wide variety of fresh produce and... More

Awesome! We are from CT, went to the market to check it out and it was great! Every fruit and veggie imaginable was there as well as meats and seafood, there was even more by way of wine, cheese, candies, jams/jellies! Wonderful selections!

This seems like a really fun destination for families and visitors. There's one area for fruit and vegetable vendors (tons of samples of melon, peach, etc) and there's a covered section for vendors of crafts, canned goods, ice cream, and pies. I was surprised that there were no vendors of bread on the day that I went (it was at... More

NC growers sell fresh produce, flowers, etc in the open air shed. There is a permanent shed for meat, seafood. Find a new vegetable or buy one of your favorites. Bakeries sell goods there too. Plants and fresh cut flowers. An educational outing for the whole family. Bring your canvas bags to carry all your goodies home so you don't... More

My wife and I took visiting relatives for a Friday afternoon visit to the market. We spent a couple of hours browsing through the stands and sampling the fresh fruits and vegetables. There is a good variety of in-season foods as well as some manufactured products. There is ample parking and there is handicap access.

My family visited Farmers' Market in Raleigh on weekend. WE can try tasting a lot of different fruits in different stores before purchasing, which is very good. We purchased watermelon, melon, peaches, kale, okra, corns and honeys...etc. We will definitely go back there...
