The farmers market offers fruit, vegetables, shrubs, plants, trees and much more. It is a centralized place to find many things. There are some bargains so bring you haggling tools.

The had a good variety of fruits and vegetables. What made it special was they had a very good seafood restaurant, several shops in an enclosed building (Market Shoppes) and several vendors selling baked goods. One of the baked good vendors had excellent cookies. Two of the shops in the enclosed building sold Blenheim ginger ale which I have not... More

We went to attend a wolf pack game on Saturday. Visited the market on Sunday. Lots of venders, reasonable prices. Produce comes from the area. We bought cheese, peaches, tomatoes, ginger root, spinach, kale, bell peppers and a watermelon for under $25. I recommend you try the seafood restraunt at the market. Prices range from $7- $15. Big servings.

It's always nice to walk around a farmer's market. This one is state supported which means it's bigger than other markets. It includes multiple covered shopping areas, a restaurant, and an imports market.

Whether you are shopping or just sight-seeing, the farmers market is a great place to stop. We shop there regularly and take all of our out of town visitors there. Don't miss the seafood market for lunch! One order goes a LONG way!

If I lived in Raleigh, I would have to be a frequent visitor. They had all the summer produce you want to buy, beautiful plants and flowers. I had been looking for a red crape Myrtle. Well I found one and it drove home from North Carolina with me today. This farmers market made me want to visit Georgia's Farmers... More

We usually buy all our fruits & vegetables from the farmer market & decided to visit this one. It had a good variety of everything for those seeking freshness & tasty food. I recommend trying their honey, arugula & the apples. Visited this place 4 times!

I enjoy the wide variety of vegetables and fruit that are available at the State Farmers Market, but am frequently disappointed in the quality of some of the vegetables and fruit being sold. Today I visited the market particularly looking for squash. Although many vendors had squash, most appeared bruised, old, or otherwise marred. While the prices seem to be... More

I know that I'm biased but I feel that our state farmers market here in Raleigh, is one of the best. Whether you go in the Spring to sample the strawberries, summer to sample the peaches and melons, fall for apples and pecans or winter for Christmas trees and cole crops, it is one of our favorite family outings. Along... More
