went with our then 19 month old. He really loved it. Their are exhibits for kids of all sizes. 5 bucks a person is perfectly reasonable for all that your child experiances...and the epic nap he/she will have after (15 bucks bought a 2 hour nap...totally worth it)

This was our third visit to Marbles over the last few years and my boys ages 4 and 8 had a blast. They want to go back again tomorrow! While there are educational lessons to be learned it really is better for just free play and exploration. There are several different themed rooms and each offers fun activities. There is... More

We took our 11 and 9 (almost 10) year old here for Spring Break. As parents we were BORED TO DEATH. Our kids are pretty self-reliant and don't need or want us to play with them at a children's museum, which made it rather boring for us. There are not enough places to sit for bored parents, and there were... More

Gardeners of Wake County manned a booth to support the DIG IN concept of getting back to the earth and a better understanding of where food comes from. During the review time, we were able to interface with many children, educators & community garden activists to discuss gardening, community gardens and the purpose of Gardeners of Wake County. Best part... More

The surrounding neighborhood may cause you to hesitate to go to Marbles Children Museum but it is worth it. We parked in the public parking structure across the street. My two toddlers and husband loved every room. The upstairs area is full of creative things for your little one. We went on a weekend which of course there was a... More

Went with my 2.5 year old on the first Saturday of spring and finding the museum and finding parking was super easy, but the museum was a bit crowded. Lots of hands on stuff for little ones right up thru preteen ages. We spent about 2 hours here and had a good time for about $15 for family of 3.
