My grandson loves Marbles it thought it was a load of fun for all of us and there is plenty to do there and for not a lot of money really. The station the kids can play in are so interactive and a learning experience. What is so col with this is that it interacts you with your children and... More

Went with my 2.5 year old on the first Saturday of spring and finding the museum and finding parking was super easy, but the museum was a bit crowded. Lots of hands on stuff for little ones right up thru preteen ages. We spent about 2 hours here and had a good time for about $15 for family of 3.

Love the whole thing. So well thought out and done. No down side - except too many people know about it! Easy on street parking.

For starters, this museum is a lot smaller than I thought it would be but it is a good place for kids to go to run around and interact with others. In my opinion its more suited for smaller children, 6 and under. My eight year old was bored pretty quick and my son, who is six and had been... More

Marbles is geared for kids from < 1 on up to probably pre-teen. There are different play areas inside that have a variety of themes. For the infant and toddler set, there is a room on the first floor that is geared toward these very young minds with a lot of sensory items like plush animals, artificial brush, etc. For... More

This place was a great find. When we visited Raleigh it was very cold outside and my son needed a place to run around and get some energy out and this was the place. Great exhibits and family fun for all

Went with a two year old and she had a blast. We had a blast watching her. There is so much here that is unique for a children's museum that I haven't seen before. Veterinary station with crates for dogs, table to examine dogs, place to bath them; farm area with cow to milk, chickens in coop laying eggs, pigs,... More

The museum is geared towards 18mo-up, I think to maybe age 8-10. A wide range of hands-on experiences and activities, including quieter areas for young or overwhelmed children. No matter your child's interest, there's an area at Marbles that explores it. And it is the CLEANEST museum, child or otherwise, I've ever seen. There are covered bins for "tasted toys"... More
